For the second time now, Alex has repaired my boiler (for two separate faults) quickly, efficiently and for a very reasonable price. He attended after a multitude of other plumbers would not even attempt the job on an apparently rather obscure boiler. On this occasion he arrived late on a Friday afternoon, in the cold and dark when I'm sure he would rather have been starting a well-earned weekend and had my heating, which had been off for 14 days (in Nov/Dec), working again within 90 minutes. I cannot thank him enough and will not hesitate to call him again. Thank you Alex.

Having been let down badly by my usual plumber, and in need of having 2 boilers fitted at very short notice, Alex came round very late in the evening to assess my problems, then started work first thing next morning, despite being the weekend. My tenant informs me that he was very clean and tidy and worked efficiently. He did everything I asked of him and he was polite at all times. Alex' prices are in line with what I expect to pay for the work he does, without having to haggle. His approach means that I will now use Alex for all my houses. I recommend Alex highly.

All work done very professionally and to an excellent standard. Both very pleasant and explained everything to us well. Worked very hard, respectful of our home and decor and left everywhere very tidy. Both stayed late one evening to complete the work. Following the installation of the new boiler, we requested a new hot water supply to our kitchen tap, which was attended to promptly and again to our great satisfaction, Already recommended to one of our neighbours. We are extremely pleased with all work undertaken. We would not hesitate to book them again. In fact we have already made arrangements for Alex to return to carry out the annual service to the new boiler.

Alex and the team relocated and fitted my new bathroom. The work was carried out quickly, efficiently and to an extremely high standard. Alex and his team were absolutely fantastic! I was having issues with my very old boiler that was located in my bathroom. My hot water and heating were intermittent, plus we had a huge eyesore in the bathroom. With winter here and a young family, we needed to act fast. I called A&B because they are an approved Worcester installer. Alex came over and we discussed the options and he gave me a quote. I subsequently decided to get a new boiler installed into the loft (to save space in the bathroom), and Alex and his team were the guys for the job. The team were prompt and very professional, they completed the work to an exceptional standard. They built a frame for the new boiler, their carpenter boxed in all the pipework that was extended from the bathroom (which also covered where the old boiler was), they even covered the carpets and cleaned up after themselves (this delighted my wife!). I truly am delighted with the outcome. We have reliable hot water and central heating. The new boiler is quietly tucked away in the loft and the bathroom looks great and feels much bigger. It's fair to say after the service I experienced, A&B plumbing and heating will be called out for every annual service and whenever I need help from tradesmen. They are a great team and I highly recommend them to everyone!

I contacted Alex after reading the reviews and he was able to come and inspect the same day. His colleague Taurean was then able to fit a boiler for me just over a week after, a relief considering the existing boiler could not be used and had multiple leaks. They left the place spotless, listened to what needed doing (valves seized up etc) their quote was incredibly competitive compared to the cowboys I had fit my combi 5 years ago and I would highly recommend using them and I will probably get them back for fires/cookers etc and recommend to family and friends.

Torrian the happy plumber switched my combi boiler today. His enthusiasm and obvious joy in his work warmed me on a day I needed warming. Now the boiler is warming my house. I'm told by the landlord it's a fair price. As for the quality of the work, I have no idea about plumbing - it looks neat. He seems like someone you can trust and I will use them again.

Last week my 30 year old central heating was replaced by Alex Rawlins T/A A&B Plumbing and Heating. It's a well organised small family business and the owner Alex visited me for quotation. After taking the details I had his office manager Heather ring me to give me the dates convenient to me and of course the cost . This was then followed by her email. Heather was very polite, very friendly and very professional. This gave me high confidence about the company. Like wise the owner was very honest and respectable gentleman and I felt he was the right man for the work. The dates were okay for me and the cost was reasonable so I immediately agreed and after 2 days I have a top class boiler and new radiators all fitted with hassle free guarantee for 10 years included . The work undertaken by Alex himself and his worker Mr T. They both were very professional and everything was cleaned up and left in tip top condition. Few things I had to ask him to ensure it would also be done and he was polite and explained to me properly not to worry and I was honestly so pleased with this fantastic company .Alex strongly believes in customer care to ensure customers are happy with his work. He also ensured me that if there was anything I feel worried about or not happy, to ring him on his mobile or ring Heather in case he is busy. I am so glad that I chose this company with their honesty and friendliness and customer care and they did not cut any short cuts which made me so happy. I have also asked them to service the boiler on a yearly basis plus appointed them to look after all the gas items like cookers, etc as I have had total confidential in this well run company. They also have appropriate certificates for Gas Safe. I can only wish them best for the future for their top class work. Thank you

Alex was very helpful in recommending and quoting for a new Worcester Bosch boiler. I was worried about possible mess involved as I had just had my home redecorated and carpeted. I was amazed at how efficiently and competently my new boiler was installed with absolutely no mess and no sign that an old boiler had been removed and replaced with a new one. Alex’s colleague brought his own drinks and got on with the job without a break. It was only a short time between the quote and installation and Heather in the office was very helpful at all times. I am thrilled with the whole process from start to finish, as well as the cost, and would recommend Alex and his team without hesitation.

They were extremely good in coming to estimate what we required to put in the new Worcester Bosch Boiler and were very prompt at installing it. Alex and his team worked extremely hard to get the boiler in and we were delighted , satisfied and really appreciative of how they installed it. They cleared up after themselves and left no mess at all. We cannot praise them enough for their work and we are highly satisfied with all they have done. We would not hesitate to have them again for anything else that we need doing.

Our 33 year old bathroom was well over due for a make over. Alex and his team of Mr T, Rick and Courtney transformed our tired and dated bathroom into a stylish modern shower room. The work was carried out professionally and with as little disruption and mess as possible. We were kept informed as to what would be happening each day and care was taken to ensure that the work was progressing to our specification. All the team were very approachable and friendly. We got to know Rick well as he was here most days doing the tiling, plastering, ceiling and floor work, trimming doors. We came to the conclusion that he could do almost anything! If you are thinking of having a bathroom refit get in touch with Alex and his team. We are glad that we did.

They are great! Had them around the first time to deal with our toilet, and the second time to add plumbing for a new dishwasher. What we wanted done was hard to explain, so they came around beforehand to see what was possible and in the end made it work. They also installed the electrical infrastructure for our freezer to be placed in a cabinet. All and all, they made it possible for our tiny kitchen to house a washing machine, a dishwasher, and separate fridge and freezer. Excellent communication with the company; Alex was a wonderful person to have in the house for a few hours. Highly recommended.
