Reliable, polite and drive looks lovely. Very good value compared to other quotes before work. Only criticism would be access left us over weekends, with machinery put so it was difficult to take rubbish out get into front etc.

Reasonable pricing, good workmanship & reliable. Richard did works in our garden. He was pleasant, professional and a quiet worker. The works have been carried out to a good standard (creating a lawn and extending the patio area). He consulted us when necessary; for example, whilst laying the block paving we wanted a specific design and Richard was patient and accommodating whilst we thought it through. He was open to making some adjustments and did so pleasantly. His pricing is very fair and he is reliable. We are very pleased with the way our garden has taken shape. Thank you Richard!

From quotation to completion Richard gave excellent service. He understood the work from the start and supplied information to help with Local Authority approval. The work was undertaken methodically with the minimum disturbance to me and my neighbours. Richard's quotation was very competitive and the quality of workmanship - block paving, fencing and concrete surface - was superb. I would not hesitate to use him again or recommend him to others.

Richard was helpful, friendly and hardworking, he always turned up when he said he was going to and kept us in the loop at all times, also checked regularly to make sure we were happy with the work that was being done. We are both extremely happy with the end result and would highly recommend him.

Richard did a wonderful job on our new driveway, at a really competitive price. We had about 8 quotes for this job and wouldn't usually just go with the cheapest, but Richard was by far the best, as well as being honest and knowing his trade well. We did contact a few past customers via Facebook who had similar jobs done a year or more ago, all who were very happy with the quality of work and therefore we were quite confident to offer the job to Richard. This was completed right at the start of the Coronavirus lockdown, so obtaining materials became a little uncertain at times, but Richard kept us up to date on when he and materials would be here, and he turned up every day, when he said he would. During the job he made some good recommendations and was more than happy to make changes. Neighbours have already commented about how good the job looks, and we'd have no hesitation in recommending Richard and A Grade Paving & Landscaping for any similar job.

For years we had a gravel and slab driveway but always wanted a professionally laid block paved driveway, with a separate base for a new large potting shed. From the initial discussion, Richard impressed me with his knowledge, professionalism and experience. I had researched what I wanted which dovetailed nicely with Richard's skills. Richard and Louis arrived promptly and carried out the work speedily, efficiently and with a minimum of mess. Despite lockdown restrictions the work was completed in only 4 days to an extremely high standard with hardly any disruption and I can definitely recommend them and will be contacting Richard in the autumn for my lawn renovation. P.S. Rufus the dog greatly appreciated Louis playing with him!

Richard responded immediately our initial enquiry through Trust a trader and kept in close communication through each stage from quote to completion. He built a patio for our greenhouse and cleared and area for our pots. This involved digging out, putting hardcore in, laying a membrane, adding pavers to create an edge, then filling with gravel. He organised materials, equipment and removal of all rubbish. Highly recommended

I needed a greenhouse base installing in the back garden. From my initial enquiry to installation was super quick. Richard arrived on time and the work completed to a high standard. Very polite and tidy. I will be contacting him again to re-lay my patio.
