I hired ABH Electrical Ltd to install seven spotlights in my home office. I found David through Checkatrade — his communication was quick, efficient, and polite from the start. David was incredibly generous with his time and expertise. My house is very old and has a lot of issues and he suggested we do an EICR report initially to determine exactly what the issues were. He talked me through everything that is required to remedy the issues while doing the report and answered many questions very patiently. We now have a plan for future works that he will be carrying out for me in December and I feel very reassured. I'm also immunocompromised and David was very happy to wear a mask throughout the 2 hours he was here which was greatly appreciated.

A very professional and competent contractor. Explained everything fully and left the site clean and tidy having done all the work that was quoted for within budget and with minimum fuss. Would highly recommend.
David was prompt, efficient and respectful. We had lots of 'bitty' things done... indoor lighting, garden lighting, water feature, new sockets etc. The initial estimate was clear and specific about each aspect. The work itself achieved everything we wanted, and the couple of small glitches were dealt with immediately. Everything was completed to a high standard. David tidied everything before he left... if it hadn't been for the fact that now we had lovely new lights and extra electrical delights, you would not know he had been. We would 100% trust David with further work in the future.
David's quote was competitive and we chose him because he discussed more details with us at the quote stage. He communicated well, he was efficient and tidy and we are very happy with the work carried out

Worked carried out was to a high standard, cleaned up after himself and I was thoroughly impressed, I would recommend and use for future jobs. Work carried out: Electrics extended from house main to garage with spotlights, sockets and security camera installed.
Excellent service, excellent communication, confident to use again
We have used ABH's services several times (bathroom lights, extractor fan, living room lights, undercounter lights and an outdoor security light) and everytime we have loved the finished results. Always left tidy after a job, great prices, and easy to communicate to get a quote/booked in - 5 stars! I would definitely recommend ABH services and will 100% be using again myself for other bits we need doing. Thank you so much!

David was very friendly and knowledgable - he made contact very quickly and was able to visit to provide a quote the next day. Once the work was agreed (at a very reasonable price compared with some of the other quotes I recorded), he arranged a suitable date that suited us around other work we were having done in our garden. David arrived promptly, kept us updated throughout the day to ensure he was doing exactly what we wanted in the right place and finished in record time. Would definitely recommend and will use again for any future electrical work.
