We undertook a major revamp of our 100-year-old house, including an 8m extension built with reclaimed stone, full plumbing, heating, wiring, stone cleaning, flooring, three bathrooms, fencing, and paving—all while preserving and restoring as much of the original character as possible. Alder was flexible and accommodating to every change we requested during the build, and always gave excellent advice when it came to balancing our budget with our requirements. Our project was challenging on many levels, from difficult site access to limitations on equipment and complex delivery logistics, but everything was managed smoothly and completed on budget.
