Al the Decorator

Al has become my go to Decorator and handy man. Super friendly, punctual, and incredibly detail-oriented. Their painting and decorating work was flawless, with a perfect finish and clean workmanship throughout. Reliable, professional, and truly takes pride in delivering outstanding results every time.

If there was an option to give 6 stars, we would. We have had the pleasure of having Al in our property, decorating a bathroom and repairing some other cracks/plaster/water stain damage in the house. This alap involved skimming, filling, painting and the fixing of a lit cabinet. Al has been exceptional - not only has he been communicative, professional, and amiable, but he has also been punctual and respectful of our home. Al cleared up any mess daily, and always checked in with us around next steps and decisions. His pricing was very fair, and totally transparent. Al has also been lovely with our little puppy, and very cognisant of our front door regarding this. We’re already planning the next decorating task for the house, as Al has made it so easy.

Al came highly recommended by friends, and honestly we couldn’t be happier that we chose him. From start to finish he was professional, reliable, and incredibly easy to work with. He was flexible around our timing, which made a big difference for our busy household, and his communication throughout was clear and consistent so we always knew what was happening. The quality of his work is excellent - real attention to detail and a finish that has genuinely transformed our space. On top of that, he’s a genuinely lovely person to have around the house: kind, respectful, and always made sure everything was tidy before leaving each day. We feel very lucky to have found him and will absolutely be using him again. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Al to anyone looking for a skilled, trustworthy painter.
