I couldn’t be happier with the service I received from this wonderful, family-run landscaping business. From start to finish they were professional, friendly, and incredibly reliable, they arrived on time, communicated clearly throughout, and made the whole process effortless. What really stood out to me is that they also volunteer at the fire brigade and actively support the local community, which is one of the main reasons I chose them. It feels great to support a business that genuinely gives back. They did a fantastic job cutting back our large bush and were very thoughtful about recycling all of the chopped wood instead of wasting it. The garden was left spotless and tidy, and the quality of their work was excellent. Their customer service was brilliant, polite, responsive, and truly caring about doing a great job. I would absolutely use their services again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy, hardworking landscapers who take pride in what they do.

My mum is pretty much house bound. Jade and Andy transformed the back and front overgrown garden into something worthwhile her looking out at. She was thrilled. We’ve had them back since and will continue to use their services.

Couldn’t have asked for more, turned up on time each day, we had no side access so everything had to be brought through the house, great care was taken and access route protected. So pleased with the work carried out, fully matched what was agreed in advance and now the light comes flooding into the garden, it makes such a difference even in winter.

ArborTek are a family run business and this is reflected in their highly personable and helpful approach. I have already had them back on several occasions and have further work planned in the Spring. Jade & Andy form a great team and they are also committed to developing more junior members of the team which is great to see. They are very consulative in their approach and you really feel that they are interested in doing the right thing for you as a client, often pointing out things that wouldn't work as well as the work you feel needs doing. Their quality of work is good and they always tidy-up throughly at the end, even prepared to come back if something needs extra time spent on it. Never pushy, they are a pleasure to have around and it already feels like having a trusted partner around to help look after the property. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to all of my friends.

Before you hire an architect
Only someone on the Architects Registration Board (ARB) register may legally call themselves an 'architect' in the UK — ask for their ARB number and check it free at arb.org.uk. An 'architectural designer' or 'technologist' is a different, unregistered role (often capable, but not the same protection).
Agree how they charge before any work starts — a percentage of the build cost, a fixed fee, or an hourly rate — and exactly which stages it covers (concept design, planning application, building-regulations drawings, work on site), so there are no surprises later.
Confirm what they will actually handle versus what is excluded — the planning application, the building-control drawings, and whether they will administer the builder's contract on site — and get it, and a portfolio of similar projects, in writing.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
