My mother started using these guys a couple of years ago, she was always so happy with their work and their prices that I started taking my car to them as well. Now my whole family get their cars serviced and maintained by Chris and Doug. They're knowledgeable, friendly, trustworthy, competitively priced and care about the service they provide.

My daughter's Ford Ka developed a problem with it's heating system (turned out to be the heater matrix valve). Chris and Doug, who own the business, couldn't have been more helpful, even coming out to my house. Very friendly and completely trustworthy - you won't find a better place to take your car.

Have used this garage a number of times on various vehicles for both repairs and servicing. The experience is always a positive one, the quality of work is excellent and the pricing is very reasonable.

I went to Auto Motive after being referred by a friend. I had previously used a chain garage (will remain unnamed- known for fixing cars quickly and shoddily) and got fleeced. Auto Motive quoted me less than half the price quoted elsewhere. Chris was very friendly, extremely well informed and willing to accommodate me time-wise. My brakes were fixed in a timely manner as I waited but I wouldn't have even minded if it took a little longer as Chris and the other guys were so warm and friendly. I discovered Auto Motive through Blackcircles. They are a hidden gem, despite their in-conspicuous physical location. Excellent work ethic, good value for money, professional and honest – the latter somewhat a rare character trait among traders. I highly recommend them, especially to those who struggle to find a trustworthy mechanic.

The work and customer care have always been the very best. Never found any other garage that comes close.

Lovely, lovely people. A great job at a reasonable price. They seem to dig us out of trouble all the time, with wonderful customer service too! People that genuinely care. Recommended all day long. Today, once again they have excelled themselves. My teenage son's car was taken for a joy ride, Chris the owner, has just spent a lot of time doing a complete safety and road check, thankfully all was ok apart from some cosmetic damage. He even put us in touch with a great value body repair man locally. Because we are an existing customer he refused to take any payment for his time (up to one hour) despite me protesting and trying to give him some money. Where on earth do you get that level of decency and customer service these days? He tells me he just wants to go home each night knowing that he has looked after as many people as possible! A special garage that really cares.

Thank you so much for repairing my car. My throttle body was faulty and needed to be done by the dealer (been told) and would've cost me a bomb. Took my car to these guys and they fixed my throttle body and throttle cable for so much less money than the dealer or another service would've done. They are honest and provide great service. I've also been offered a courtesy car, which not every service does. Well satisfied with their service and they've got me as a client for long time. I would recommend them to anyone at any time. I usually don't do reviews but these guys deserve it!

I took my car into Auto Motive Service and Repair to repair an AC fault and was immediately impressed with their welcoming and friendly professionalism. The fault was soon identified and costed, and I returned today to have this, and other requested works carried out. I must say that their service is first rate, with proficient and very helpful staff. And, as promised, the works came in on budget. I highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again.

They have efficiently provided mechanical support for mine and my daughter’s Ssangyongs, from providing guidance and pricing over the telephone, to carrying out the work in a timely manner, as quoted. Each member of staff we’ve spoken to has been friendly and considerate. Our only regret is that as a Ssangyong specialist the garage isn’t closer to our home!
