Good job, friendly, helpful, but punctuality and communication not the best

We didn't eventually go with AJ and his team for the only reason that two other offers were better priced for our needs. However, their quote was good, the layout of the quote in particular the best we saw and their site visit was prompt and they listened. I hope we don't regret passing them by this time but for other projects we will definitely give them a shout.

The guys at AV1 were friendly and professional through both the quotation and building process. They helped workout the details of the project and discussed issues with the our structural engineer. Onsite they were professional, kept the site tidy, and produced quality work. Overall highly recommend.

AV1 were working at a property near me on a very busy road. They were very considerate to pedestrians on the pathway as we frequently suffer from companies blocking the pavement. They were very polite, offering to assist anyone as necessary and very mindful not to obstruct the safe passage of pedestrians. In addition they are a very friendly company who always greet you in a polite, friendly manner as you pass by. Their paving work at the property is a delight to see. A big thank to them.

Viv was very reliable and friendly. Tidied up very well after each day's work. I would recommend his company to anyone needing building work.

Viv and the other workers were prompt and polite. They’ve done a brilliant job of the fireplace, and I’m impressed how clean they left the place after plastering as well. Would absolutely recommend. They also had a student with them, and I overheard some conversations they had with them. I thought the whole team were really respectful towards them and explained their processes really clearly (which is a testament to the level of skills and respect the whole team have).

Would absolutely recommend AV1 to anyone requiring work completing to their home. They did extensive work to our property and completed this to a high standard. Very easy to deal with, they provided a quote and then stuck to it. Any extra charges were discussed in advance and invoiced in a transparent manner only when agreed. Easy to communicate with and nice guys, always turned up when they said they would and were very considerate when in our property.

Whilst AV1 building did not supply the cheapest quote, it was very comprehensive thus ensuring that there were no hidden surprises. AJ and Viv (AV1) consulted us during the design phase and throughout the build, providing welcome suggestions to unforeseen challenges. During the build itself, they cleaned up after them themselves and ensured things were finished to a high standard. The build came in on budget and was completed in a timely manner. AJ and Viv were very courteous and accommodating and we would highly recommend.

A great work with quality and a great result. They work hard being very polite and tiny. Everyday clean everything and they solved any small issue very fast. I can only recommend them for your works at home.

right from the start, the job was going tobe complex, but the guys explained clearly all the forthcomming obsticles and how that woud takle them, very deep foundatons, rotten floors and a serious roof issue. the guys just got on with it , overcome the issues , i was always expecing theat sucking air through the teeth point, but it never came, the work just got done. ( i think they fixed far more issue than the worried me about), i now have a massive exension new bathrom and kichen so impressed, on buget and somhow on time!

I've had some trouble arranging tradespeople to help plan, quote and carry out renovations but no such issues with these gents - super helpful, couldn't do more for you and made me feel involved and listened to, no question was silly and work was carried out exactly as anticipated and explained. They were there when they said they would be which was great when arranging time off work and WFH. Others have said they leave things tidy each time which is true and so helpful for when you're living in a building site!

AJ and Viv did an amazing job with our out building. The work involved laying concrete flooring and building a lean-to-extension. They are reliable and friendly. They kept everything tidy and went the extra mile to sort everything out. They kept us informed throughout. Can't recommend them enough!

Third time I've used AV1 over last few years - this time for a much bigger job involving the refurbishment of a property. Works have included removing of internal walls, installing new double glazing and front door, new ceilings, plaster skimming, bathroom groundworks and blocking up a doorway and cutting in new patio doors. Adrian and Viv are reliable, competent, helpful and supportive / client focussed. I feel we have an excellent working relationship and trust them to recommend the best course of action for agreed work plans, changes and additions. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I was very impressed with AV1 from start to finish, their communication was first class and they kept to the schedule. The working area was always cleaned up during the works and was left tidy when everything was completed. Parts and equipment were ordered and delivered correctly. I would be happy to recommend AV1.

Can’t recommend these guys highly enough. Not only do you get a first rate job, but they are also friendly, and considerate of the work they are carrying and potential issues for kids in the house, which as a parent on my own, was very much appreciated. Even cleaned up every evening before they left! My house was cleaner during the work phase than since! They took my plans and made them reality and I have been absolutely delighted with the results

Viv and AJ are very easy to work with, reliable, hard working, tidy, pay attention to detail. We are so pleased with the work that they have done that we have asked them to do our extension/kitchen/bathroom conversion. They are starting tomorrow!

Had this wonderful team back to build my garden room and they done an absolutely fantastic job. As ever kind, polite, hard working and went all out to give me exactly what I wanted. Absolutely amazing company! Complete professionals that take real pride in their work. They were really helpful, kind and patient and also no messing about job was booked in and the work carried out within a few days of calling for a quote. They also cleaned up after them selves and left everything tidy All round a great team, a complete pair of gems!!
