Highlights

"Alex was great at communicating and went around me so that I could do the school run. He was bang on time, friendly and professional. He came with hhis apprentice and explained to the apprentice all the way through what and why he was doing something. The apprentice did some bits and Alex checked them. He was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing at the beginning and end to me. Overall ten out of ten. I would recommend him to anyone."

"Contacted Alex via check a trade. Alex promptly called me back. Once I explained the problem with the shower Alex requested if I could send him a photo of the shower. I sent a photo plus a video. Alex prompted called me back and text a message explaining how the issue could quickly be rectified. I was able to follow the instructions he sent and we have a working hot shower again. Many thanks to a honest genuine guy he could have easily have visited and charged me for the problem but no charge. Would definitely recommend and contact if we ever had an electrical problem. Thank you"

"Alex and his colleague were polite and friendly. They respected my property and removed shoes without me asking. They had the correct tools to carry out the work which they did quickly and efficiently. They were tidy and explained to me what had gone wrong with the original switch. I was very impressed by their workmanship, I'll certainly be using them again and recommend them to friends for any electrical work they need."

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
