We recently had Cameron and his team from CD Construction carry out repointing and brickwork repairs on our property, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, courteous, and incredibly hardworking. The repointing was done with great attention to detail, restoring the character of the building while ensuring it’s properly protected for years to come. The brickwork repairs were equally impressive—blending seamlessly with the existing structure and finished to a very high standard. Cameron kept us informed throughout the project, and even when unexpected challenges arose (especially with the higher parts of the building), he handled them with care and kept the budget as close to the original estimate as possible. Jason completed and submitted a detailed survey due to damp in our property. He gave us a full list of the work required, which was helpfully prioritised along with decent products to consider (based on industry standards and not commission!) Not the outcome we hoped for from our survey, but at least we now know what to do, without the risk of unscrupulous damp companies ripping us off.

Jason was incredibly professional, quick to respond and the report was very thorough. All recommendations were backed up with photographs, clear explanations and suggestions. The recommendations were ranked according to levels of severity, and estimated costs for the work also included. Because he is independent these suggestions were unbiased and clearly explained. He had used a ladder to examine the roof, as well as explored cupboards, and examined the house from top to bottom. He came to us highly recommended by others, and we would do the same in the future.

Arranged for Jason to undertake the survey in as little as around 48hrs, where he was able to liaise with the estate agent directly for access. The report was delivered promptly and was easy to understand with clear photos and reference to the likely causes, and remedies that would be required. The traffic light system of priorities was really helpful for extra context. Using Jason’s report in conjunction with our Building Survey now means we are as prepared as possible for our new home. As ‘after sales’ Jason was also happy to answer additional questions we had to help us understand cost.

I was obliged to have a damp and timber survey done by my lender. I was reticent about doing this because the property is 1905 and I have read many damp surveys recommend work that isn’t suitable for period buildings. This didn’t happen with Jason and the survey was very thorough and detailed. He looked under the floorboards where possible and found things my main building survey didn’t cover. He responded very quickly to my initial enquiry and the survey was delivered to me quicker than he said it would be which was very helpful

Jason completed a damp survey for me on a 2 bedroom flat. He replied to all communications and was reliable and courteous. He was flexible around getting access and was trustworthy. The report he provided by email was easy to understand. It outlined the reasons for the existing issues and pointed me in the right direction with regards to getting further works completed to improve the ventilation within the flat. If you are looking for an independent assessment of any damp then I'd recommend Jason. Easy to deal with and provided all the qualified information needed.
