"I have had a problem with our hall floor for months after It got to the point where we had to get someone in but tried two floor specialists who either did not return my calls or neither confirmed when they could come round. I was recommended to try a carpenter and after reading reviews on this site I contacted CJH. Chris returned my call came round next day and gave me a very competitive quote and then 3 days later he came round today and fixed our floor. His work is first class and he left out house spotless. I would hot hesitate to recommended CJH"
"We found Chris though checkatrade and he was brilliant. He adapted our living space to create a third bedroom. We chose Chris because he was friendly and knowledgeable, he took time to understand our requirements, and he made good suggestions to make our plans work. When the work was going on, he was really communicative and approachable and not fazed by any issues that cropped up. He was very considerate of our schedules and the potential impact on our neighbours. All the sub-contractors he used were also great and the work was completed bang on time. Thanks Chris!"

When I was getting quotes for our loft conversion Chris from CJH came to price the works , I was immediately impressed with the questions he asked & the replies he gave to my questions. Their quote was very competitive. During the works being carried out Chris & Gary always went above & beyond to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. The quality of the work is very very good. All of the sub-trades without exception were again excellent. The tradesmen showing pride in their work ."
