I used this company for a 2 story extension in 2022-23. It was a fairly big project with new building work and also refurbishing existing property with new wiring and plumbing. Josh was very helpful- he is very much hands on doing the job. He always responded timely to queries. He even arranged for a structural engineer to step in urgently when my architect was unable to find one. He was always willing to help above and beyond his role. Even after the job was finished and property handed over he has stayed in touch and has ensured that any unforeseen issues are dealt with.

We hired the company to do some work in our utility room which had lots of damp and required insulation on the floor, roof and wall. The result is excellent and Josh and his team run the extra mile to also help us with other little things in our house. Additionally, when a small issue arose after finishing the job, they quickly attended to resolve it. The timescale we had initially agreed went slightly over but this is partly due to our holidays and the weather.

Jos got recommend by a friend, we could come around to see his work and we were impressed. He was one of a few quotes we had in but he came within our budget and he seemed very reasonable. He finished a 2 story extension to the back of the house and am very pleased. He is set a very high standard for himself and if he is not happy he will make sure it is done to the correct standard, even if it means it needs to be redone. He is very good in keeping you up-to-date and is very friendly. Really happy with his work.

We had our en-suite bathroom renovated as our previous shower was leaking through the roof. CKG has been very professional in completing the work with high standards in a timely manner. Amount of work to be done and anticipated expenses were discussed prior to the start of work.

CKG Homes provided an accurate quote from the outset and were upfront about any extras which were agreed. The rear extension was completed to an extremely high standard and all of our requests were taken into account. CKG Homes were flexible and managed the build around our young family and always kept it tidy and organised. We were extremely satisfied and are looking forward to working with them again.

I had CKG doing a massive job in my house. They removed a wall and chimney breast, redo the entire downstairs flooring with fillings and all, new porch, new windows everywhere, new kitchen, plumbing, electricity and painting. Although it was a very messy job they kept it all tidy and clean. The quality of the work, as well as the material, has been to a high level with professionals throughout. All workers from the different professions required were helpful, courteous, discreet, friendly and polite. Jos, the manager, managed and organised the project well throughout. The aftercare is also great as if anything is wrong or missing I can always contact Jos. I went over my budget because there were works that had to be added as we went along, but it had to be done. I am very satisfied with my new improved home! Thank you all and I will recommend you! I would also come back to you if I need any future projects.

I emailed this company asking them to contact me regarding some work that we need doing. The courtesy of a "no" would have been preferable to a wall of silence.

Jos and his team completed a two storey extension and full house refurbishment. From the initial meeting to discuss the project through to finishing; they were professional and reliable and all trades were extremely skilled. They kept us updated throughout the project and delivered exceptional quality in everything that was done in the house. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Jos ensured everything was done to a high standard and he has a great eye for detail. Our house has now been turned into a beautiful home thanks to Jos. We had a garden wall constructed between our property and our neighbours, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. The quality of the work was exceptional, Jos and the team were very friendly and we were kept well informed during the work. The work needed to match the existing wall from the bricks and design to the custom ironwork railings, everything was completed to a very high level. We are very pleased with Jos and the team.

There were some delays but these were mainly due to factors beyond control. Even after handing over the property, he has stayed in touch to ensure that any work that comes up is sorted.
