Highlights

"This is the second time I’ve used Corinthian Building & Joinery, this time to fit wardrobes against one wall. I was not disappointed & even though there were a quite a few issues with the items sent from Howdens, Bradley sorted them. Again Bradley & Dan showed their joinery expertise & I’m extremely happy with their work. Bradley also sorted out a few issues left by other workmen, he really does go above & beyond to assist his customers."

"Brad was extremely helpful from the beginning and gave us advice around navigating an old and uneven floor. He provided us with a couple of options and quotes to choose which direction to go down. We used Brad to lay new floor with new skirting and it was finished to a very high standard. We couldn't be happier with the end result and we are already thinking about what jobs we would need Brad for in the future."

Smart checks

Before you hire a builder

Never pay a large deposit up front — agree a staged payment schedule tied to completed milestones, and hold a small retention until snagging is done.
Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
Be wary of a cash-only price or pressure to start tomorrow — both are red flags for an unaccountable job.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
Check the credentials and registrations that matter for this work — and that they are current.
