Dean did a fantastic job of fitting our new downstairs flooring (living room, kitchen, hallway and downstairs toilet) Very punctual and polite throughout the entire process with a fantastic attention to detail.

Dean replaced the carpets with laminate flooring throughout our 3 bedroom property. We decided at the last minute to install under floor insulation and he happily undertook this job too. Whilst installing the insulation he braced the floorboards where required and did a fantastic job with the laminate flooring taking great care with the layout throughout. Our hallway was particularly tricky as has many doors and bowed walls and Dean dealt with this very well. Dean also replaced all of our internal doors, architrave and skirting boards and did a lovely job. He pays great attention to detail and takes pride in his work. He kept us well informed throughout and we are very pleased with the end result. He was friendly and trustworthy and we would happily recommend his work.

Dean was able to suggest ideas for our flooring that we were aware of. He was thoughtful and considerate throughout the time he was working. The resulting look of the floor is lovely and has enhanced the ground floor of our house. We will certainly be approaching him when we need any more work doing on the house.

Dean did a series of work in my house. Fixing and boarding over floor boards, laying laminate floor through the house, new skirtings, build in recessed cabinet in lounge, new fitted kitchen, replacing old decking and building decking handrails in the garden. All finished to agreed schedule, price and great finish quality. No mess was left behind. Dean is professional and pleasant and always ensured he had understood the brief/requirements well from me before going ahead with work and decisions for finishes. Highly recommend Dean!

Dean was very helpful in building my vision for the storage area at the side of my fireplace. When he told me he could create custom cupboards in addition to the chunky shelves, to match the example picture I sent, I was very impressed. He showed me different options for construction and shared examples of his previous work to keep me involved in the planning process. He also took time and care to find the materials I wanted. The final result was just what I wanted and received many compliments from visitors. He also broke down the quote well so that I knew I was getting a fair price.

Dean fitted a Howden’s kitchen, built a bookcase and cupboards in the hall, fitted laminate floor through the kitchen, dining room, hall and office and decorated the kitchen/dining room. The work was completed to an excellent standard and Dean explained everything he was doing. He ensured that we were without a working kitchen for the shortest time as possible and cleaned up every night so that we could cook. I was working at home and Dean did everything he could to minimise noise whilst I was in meetings or teaching online. He was polite and courteous and helped us resolve some issues with appliances that we had bought independently that ended up creating more work. Dean wants to do a perfect job and that shows in the quality of work he produces. I love spending time downstairs now and the kitchen is everything I had hoped for and more. We would definitely recommend Dean - and have done - and will ask him to do more work for us.

Dean hung internal doors, painted the woodwork and walls throughout my home and partially tiled the kitchen. I would have like to include several pictures but don't seem to be able to do that. His work was excellent and he was a great guy to get along with. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others

He listened carefully to our suggestions, and either carried out our wishes, or, where appropriate, made alternate suggestions which were more practicable, leaving the final decision to us. Dean has been great and his work is wonderful. From his first visit, which entailed a detailed chat about what we wanted with pictures to help, his professional and friendly approach ensured we asked him to do the work. He has built us some bespoke shelves and installed a hand rail on our staircase. We live in a Vicrorian terrace that has wonky walls that curve and kink. Any challenges that were presented were met with positivity and all potential problems were solved promptly with positivity. I can't recommend Dean enough - he turned up as promised, checked we were happy at all stages and was willing to adjust and change to suit us as necessary. We are thrilled with the work and will definitely have him back for whatever else we need doing in our home - there is plenty! We are very grateful for a job beautifully done 🙂

Dean came quickly to assess the job . I found him very friendly, polite and reliable. He very kindly fixed another little job for me. He is very professional and his workmanship is excellent. I would definitely recommend him. I am very happy with his work and will definitely use his services again.

We found it difficult to find someone to carry out a repair to our floor, but Dean was happy to take on the job. He was very polite and knowledgeable and explained to us clearly all the possible solutions. He was also punctual and finished the job on time. He even put the underlay and carpet back down properly and was very tidy. The defect was completely remedied and we couldn't be happier with the results. The thing we liked most about Dean was that he took pride in his work and didn't cut corners. We will definitely be calling on his services again for other jobs and can't recommend him highly enough.

Would highly recommend Dean. We used his services to fully refurbish our staircase including hanging our new doors which were very difficult to do! His attention to detail doesn’t go unnoticed and he works collaboratively with you suggesting great ideas to best suit your home and budget. Wouldn’t hesitate hiring him again in future for other work.

Dean was friendly, reliable and tidy. He did a great job of explaining placing 9 internal doors including removing all old doors, fitting handles and locks on 3 of the doors. Dean managed to align the new hinges etc so we have minimal filling to do. Would definitely recommend Dean and any other joinery jobs we have he will be top of our list to call.

Unlike so many other tradesmen, Dean responded promptly to my initial enquiry. Unlike other tradesmen he then turned up to quote and then to do the work on the days he said he would. I really have no idea if he was expensive as I was so pleased to deal with someone who understood basic customer service that I didn't even get a second quote. The quality of his work was very good and he was neat and tidy. I would use him again.

Very, very happy with Dean's completion of the challenging task of installing a suspended pinewood ceiling immediately beneath an original, unstable lath & plaster ceiling. A really sound piece of work, with the timbers sanded then oiled and edged in beading to look top class. Dean then upgraded the existing woodwork and shelving around the room to give a unified, well-finished appearance. As a grand finale he redecorated the whole room to a truly professional standard. We thoroughly appreciated his readiness to ask for and swap ideas and suggestions at every stage, as well as his punctuality, reliability and tidiness; all part of his ultimate aim to produce an immaculate piece of work. We would highly recommend Dean to anybody!

From our first communication we were impressed. Dean replied promptly, arranging a visit to view the potential work. He was punctual, discussed in great detail his ideas of solutions for the job.
