We had a full week’s worth of work to do remedying damp issues, including floor repairs, replastering and fan installation. The work was done to a very good standard, with Adam and Hayden doing good jobs and being friendly and helpful throughout. A couple of issues re. timing of electrical work but otherwise we’re very happy. Thank you!

Adam was friendly, professional and willing to go the extra mile. He warned me that it would be a dusty job (he was right!) but he kept things as tidy as possible. He also explained what he was doing as he went through the process. I’d highly recommend Adam! Make sure you have lots of tea. 😊

From the day of the survey to the completion of the work all operatives I had dealings with were polite, hard working and efficient at their jobs.

The damp proof work was carried out with speed and efficiency born of expertise. The operative worked fast and cheerfully in the heat, undertaking work to the inner front walls and outer back, clearing all building rubbish at the end of the works. I was impressed and would recommend.

We had Jack and Jed attend our property last week to complete the final bits outstanding from our original damp report. The chaps did a fantastic job, Jack explained everything clearly so I understood progress daily and my add ons at the start of the job were easily accommodated. The Chaps did a brilliant daily clean up too, which was unexpected and really appreciated. I think Jed got my living room floor cleaner than I do! Couldn't recommend Dampworks and Jack and Jed enough.

Laurence (Bickley) - Jack was absolutely brilliant! I couldn't recommend him highly enough, he translated all the work he was doing in a simple way for me to understand which meant I was kept up to speed. He carried out all the work in a extremley skilled manor, taking ultimate care.

Both Richard and a trainee Steve came to the property they were on time and they were both polite and friendly from the start. They did a thorough job in check the walls inside and outside the property and Richard was explaining everything he was checking so we knew. They put our minds at ease for a job we thought was going to be a nightmare gave us some great feedback back. I would recommend these to anyone asking for some advice or a survey. Great job!

Jack was punctual, polite and courteous at all times. Throughout the job, he took time to keep me informed regarding what he was doing and answer any questions that I had. Although Jack was on his own, he worked very hard to ensure that the work was completed to a very high standard. He was happy to go that extra mile to ensure that I was happy with the end result. Jack always left the work area tidy at the end of that day and I am extremely satisfied with the service provided.

We got Richard in for a 2nd opinion on some damp issues and could not be happier. He was extremely thorough and provided practical solutions to our problem (rather than push for OTT expensive work). His background in pest control also really helped as he identified part of our smell issues were rodents not damp.

Richard went above and beyond with our damp survey. His expertise in both damp and (pest control) helped us identify the awful smell in our house. He explained everything with clarity, was incredibly thorough in his checks and generous with his time. Could not be more impressed and grateful for his guidance and transparency (he didn’t try to sell us anything unlike another survey we had from a different company). And he got us the survey report back in the same day too. Would highly recommend! Thank again!

The preparation & time taken to protect the flooring in all the areas of work was wonderful. Considerable care was also taken to remove the skirting boards without damage. Dan worked very hard for the whole week. He put in long days & was careful with our property. He was very knowledgeable & just got on with the job. He kept to the schedule and finished on time. Also his attention to tidying up & leaving the property in good order was brilliant iven the amount of work & dust thst was created, tools etc there was no damage at sllt was a full weeks work

The survey report done by Richard was very detailed giving us all his recommendations. We went ahead with the all what he recommended. The work was done in the time frame, a first class job and was all clean and tidy when they left. I would definitely recommend this company.

Jack and Russell came over to do the work as quoted by Richard the surveyor on their team. Jack and Russell did a fantastic job. Quick, tidy and were generally just nice to have around the house for the four days and answered my many questions about the process and what they were doing. The work including a damp proofing course, fleece membrane, plastering, French drains and timber spraying Lucy had been great when getting the work booked in and Richard did a good damp report and was happy to chat it through later.

The initial Report on the problem was comprehensive, well presented and with a fulsome summary as to addressing the issue. The quotation for undertaking the work was reasonable. Despite delays on our part, when we did ask them to do the work, they provided a almost immediate response, which particularly suited us. We were expecting two persons to undertake the work and were somewhat surprised when Russell arrived alone. He was a pleasure to have in the house and we were particularly impressed with his diligence, speed of work and attention to detail that saw the work completed as agreed.
