I have used Essential Electrics to work on my daughters flat in Chessington. he has always reacted quickly when i have needed him, always given a full explanation of what the job entailed and quoted a fair and reasonable price. This is important to me as my daughter lives on her own and i know i can rely on him to deal with the job quickly. The last job was she had no hot water , he turned up the next day and fitted a new thermostat. i recommend his services.

Laurence contracted to conduct EICR in residential property. He was very courteous in determining suitable time for appointment with good communications. He undertook and completed job as scheduled and professionally, and delivered EICR report/cert promptly and as quoted. Recommended and would use again.

Laurence carried out both brand new rewiring and remedial work on our house when it was extensively remodelled including fitting an additional fuse board, tracing and rectifying wiring faults from a previous homeowner and installing custom LED lighting to the lounge ceiling. Very pleased with the end result. Laurence was very knowledgeable and friendly and I’d be pleased to recommend him.

Laurence has been my "go to" electrician for a few years now and has undertaken a range of work for me in 2 properties including installing or replacing spot lights in the kitchen and bathroom, larger pendent lights in the hall, under cabinet lights. Essential Electrics carried out an Electrical Condition Report for a rental property. We have used them for numerous electrical jobs over the last 5 years. Their work has always been of a high quality and always at the agreed quoted price.

As part of a building project to remodel our kitchen and dining area, Laurence rewired the space, factoring in lighting, electrical power sockets and connections for new appliances, fitting smoke and heat detectors, upgrading our fuse board and carrying out a survey of electrics elsewhere in the house. The work was completed professionally, with consultation and decision making from us at every stage, and the fitting phased to co-ordinate with the building works and kitchen installation. We had complete trust in Laurence's work and he worked hard to complete the job as safely and quickly as possible. With constant communication between us, we ensured that we covered all lighting and power needs, as well as some future proofing, and no regrets that we'd missed anything on completion. It was great to have Laurence here and he was always willing to answer questions, explain his work and suggest solutions when needed. Also, he is very easy to get on with and there was never a dull moment when he was around.

External lamp lighting fitted and wired around outside of house, two spotlights and sensors replaced and motion activated overhead porch light fitted. Laurence carried out the work very professional standard and kept active communication explaining what he was doing and seeking our input on decisions. He worked out the best solution to fit the wiring to stretch around the house. The inside work was very neat and we are very pleased with the final outcome. This was our second time working with Laurence and we would highly recommend him.

I contacted Loz through the retirement property where I needed the work done on my flat as he does a lot of work for them. He talked me through my options of repairing or replacing the 30 year old economy 7 radiators , we then settled on a date convenient for us both for installation. He kept in contact (when we purchased the new radiators, delivery date and installation date) He was very thorough and would thoroughly recommend.

Lawrence is hard working, punctual and well organised. He rewired a kitchen, utility and garage we were refurbishing in a house with some of the worst he wiring we've seen in a long time. In order to meet curret regs, he had to remove everything and start from scratch in order to be compliant. His ability to articulate to both me and my client exactly what was needed and where things needed more attention was excellent and the end result was a neat job done well. The job expanded to him doing works throughout the house and my client will be using him for some commercial work to dovwith his business and we have just offered him 10 newbuild apartments to price. Had just moved into new place and cooker was not working I have no clue about electrics and have used Laurence many times before for any repairs I need he is always there when he says he will and price is always more than reasonable.he fixed the cooker even threw my chandlers up for me nothing!
