Highlights

"Great team, really good quality, helpful explanations and a very fair price. Very pleased, would recommend Rob and Toby"

"Initially messaged Steph at Fenix explaining the issue - although not knowing the cause myself. Rob suspected he knew the issue and arranged for parts, he arrived on a Sunday late afternoon and within 30mins had solved everything and replaced the socket to my cooker. Despite me saying I’d clear away Rob insisted on doing this, he was friendly, professional, tidy and most of all trustworthy. He could have told me anything was wrong as I was clueless but he didn’t!! Our new go to for anything electrical. Thank you Fenix"

"Amazing work completed for our full house rewire, from start to finish. During the quoting stage, we were given advice on alternatives they could do for us to help save us some money, which we really appreciated. After the work was finished, we returned to the house expecting lots of clean up but the whole place was so tidy! Even the parts of the wall they had to cut into were neat so it only took a little bit of filler and paint to patch the walls up and now you can't even tell any work was done! So friendly and helpful throughout and would definitely use them again in the future."

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
