Sam and his colleague came to the house to inspect an old roof and quote. They were very professional, easy to talk to and gave confidence that any issues could be corrected. Mark and James did the work in a very professional and approachable way. They arrived on time and worked very hard. Customer service with Sam was excellent, with before and after pictures and explanation that allowed the work to run very smoothly. Needed to call them again over a blocked downpipe. First Choice Roofing & Building Solutions Limited are a great company. I spoke to Sam, who is very friendly, punctual and reliable. All the work that was carried out on the roof was to a very high standard. The work was done quickly and efficiently and the scaffolding was taken down after the job was done in no time at all. I was also sent pictures of the roof before and after the work was done, which I thought was a very nice touch. Very happy customer, would definitely use Sam and his team again. Excellent job.

We had a leaking gutter which was replaced efficiently and we experienced excellent customer service throughout and very happy with the end result.

Sam and Bernard did a fantastic job. Initially we thought the tiles on the gable end just needed repointing. But upon investigation it was clear the felt and batons were seriously rotted and the whole roof need to be replaced. The lads got a big team in and did the entire roof in just one day. Amazing high quality work.

We called Sam & his team at very short notice to deal with replacing the roof on my mother’s house. Sam arrived on time as planned & gave an honest appraisal of the situation. We agreed on the quote to carry out the work & the team arrived promptly on the scheduled date. The ongoing communication throughout the work was excellent with Sam sending regular photos by way of updates as I was not on site at the site. The work was completed to a very high standard and the team did a very good job of minimising any mess. All of the rubbish and waste materials were removed promptly. I would have no hesitation in recommending using First Choice if you need any roofing related work and would definitely use them again if required.

We were very impressed with the work carried out by First Choice Roofing. They dealt with an emergency leak caused by some big issues on the roof. Sam was very responsive and dealt with the issue efficiently and promptly. Mark and Kev who carried out the repairs worked very hard. Overall we were very happy with Sam, Bernard, Mark and Kev and would definitely recommend them. They are all really nice guys and were easy to deal with.

After two (unsuccessful) attempts with other firms in fixing a leaking roof, Sam and his team identified the problem and were able to fix it perfectly. Sam was clear with the explanations as to what was needed to be done and why. Everything was done on time (that were convenient for us) and to the agreed cost. They’re not the cheapest firm out there but my experience is that you very much get what you pay for. Superb overall. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sam and his team to others.

Sam and his team did an incredible job, my roof was in a dreadful state. Ridge tiles were sliding down with this disintergrating cement and two large holes due to missing tiles. Underneath the wooden slats were rotting and evidence of birds nesting was clear through the years. There was also no membrane at all. Sam’s team worked very hard and the end result is a very professional job that cannot be faulted. It extremely attractive, watertight and more importantly, safe. I wholeheartedly recommend this company.

First Choice did a great job on our Victorian terraced house. When the rear tiles were removed the structure was revealed to be in a poor condition, and unfortunately as they explored further this was found to be the case for the rest of the roof. It’s the original structure from the 1890s with no work done since, so not too surprising. Sam and his team explained the problems thoroughly and sent multiple photos of the damaged areas as soon as they found them. The options were clearly explained and in the end we decided to replace the whole roof and invest in the house for the future. We were very impressed with the team, which varied during the job over several days. They worked very hard and were polite and helpful. Also good in dealing with our next door neighbours where the work impacted on them. The external finish is very good, with high quality flashing, sharp edging, and fascia boards matching the originals. Also the team took great care to protect the plants while working in our small courtyard garden. I would be more than happy to use First Choice again in future.

Sam and his team worked hard to complete Roofing job. They are efficient, polite, conscientious and tidy. Paying particular attention to detail. Excellent communication with regular updates throughout. Would recommend without hesitation.

Sam and his team came to do a reasonably small repair to my Mother's roof, which then turned into a very large job. He kept us informed all the way through the process and provided photos & videos to show us what the issues were. We didn't feel pressured into doing the extra work and Sam explained the pros and cons of doing half of what was required compared to doing the whole lot. In the end we decided to do the whole lot. Sam's communication was great and he made what was quite a disruptive process for my elderly Mother into as smooth a process as it could be. I've been really pleased with the job throughout, would definitely contact him again if I needed any more roofing work done.

Would highly recommend them. Sam Bernard and all the team were friendly and polite. Worked really hard even in the bad weather. We had the whole roof replaced and it looks great.
