Reached out as I'd been given what I thought was a high quote by another company for a boiler repair. Andy advised me that he could do the work himself for cheaper but that my best bet would be to go direct to worcester as they would cover all of the main boiker parts saving me money and a potential headache if the initial job didn't resolve my issue. Andy quoted for the relocation of our Boiler flue. I was quoted by British Gas. They included unnecessary work and were four times the price quoted by Andy, who arrived on time, was courteous and left the area tidy.

Andy was able to clearly explain the options to us (and recommend where we could save cost). He completed the complex installation efficiently and to a high standard. He answered all questions I had, made sure he didn't leave any mess in the house and even extracted all redundant pipe work and water storage from my loft as part of the job. Highly recommended for any boiler jobs or issues.

Andy fixed my nans gas leak so when I had a problem with my boiler I knew straight away who to contact. I didn’t expect him to come out on a Sunday but not only did he come out and fix the fault he also serviced it as well. Andy Ames the Gas Guru visited my house recently. I have a flueless gas fire, which is a very specialised gas fire. I was limited in finding gas engineers to service it as very few were interested in attending. It was extremely difficult to find one. Our boiler is now working perfectly after our new engineer Andy gave it a proper service which has rectified a couple of issues we have had.

Excellent service, arrived ontime at short notice . Boiler repaired same day. Heating and hot water restored. Would use again should any future problems occur.

Old school engineer

We asked Andy to come and give our central heating system an overhaul as it hadn't been working properly for some time. Boiler, radiators, thermostats all checked/balanced/replaced and everything explained along the way. On time both days and you wouldn't know Andy had been when he left. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend.

Andy came and serviced our gas fireplace. He was very professional and knew what he was talking about. He fixed the issue we had with it on the spot and was in and out within 2 hours. I will deffinalty be using his services and expertise again and be recommending him to friends and family.

Andy gave clear information about what he was going to do and a price. He was more thorough than we expected and as the gas fire had not been serviced for a long time replaced strips that had deteriorated and thoroughly cleaned everything on the fire and I mean everything. Andy was able to restore my gas and advise on the source of the mistake by the emergency contractor within minutes of arriving - giving me back my heating on the new year long weekend. Hugely appreciative of his knowledge and experience that put my mind at rest and stopped an otherwise potentially expensive investigation into a completely benign issue.

Andy fitted an LPG gas hob for me and installed a new LPG changeover valve. He took his time to do an excellent job, was very knowledgeable, and certainly knows his craft. Neat and tidy too. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again, or recommend him. Thank you Andy.

Andy went above and beyond to resolve our gas leak including involving and assisting us in pursuing utility providers to ensure the appropriate organisation took responsibility for the fault. Cannot fault and would highly recommend
