A fantastic company to work with—polite, punctual and professional throughout. I was given a one-hour arrival window the day before, which made it really easy to plan my day. David, the engineer, was friendly and efficient, and left me all the paperwork I needed. The boiler service report was emailed to me within the hour, and payment was quick and straightforward. The service was carried out to a very high standard. Highly recommend.

Glad I picked this Trader as Lorraine the lady who was my contact on the phone was so polite and friendly . I was not charged for the initial call out only for the actual work done . Danny the Plumber arrived on time a very nice young man who fitted my new Kitchen Tap and left everything clean and tidy . My Thanks to you both Angela.

Brilliant, trustworthy company. Lorraine is always friendly, organised and so helpful when booking appointments. David, who carries out the work, is genuinely one of the nicest and most honest tradespeople I’ve met. He clearly puts customers before profit and his workmanship is top-class every single time. I’ve used GBS three times now — boiler service, toilet repair and a thermostat replacement — and each visit has been faultless. Trust is something I really struggle with when booking trades, but I’m so glad I found GBS. They’re reliable, skilled, honest and completely fair on price. This is a company you can book with total confidence, knowing the job will be done properly and you won’t be ripped off. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

I was very impressed with the service from GBS. Lorraine was incredibly helpful and friendly, quickly arranging—at short notice after someone else had let me down—for my old radiator to be removed and a new one installed so my redecoration plans wouldn’t be delayed. Danny carried out the work efficiently on the scheduled day and even returned a week later to address a minor concern I had at no extra cost. GBS communicate clearly, are punctual and reliable, and I would not hesitate to use their services again, thanks GBS!

Danny from Gas Boiler Services made an initial visit, free of charge, to look at our old boiler when it failed after 15 years of service. It was no surprise that he advised that its working days were well and truly over. He advised on a replacement and the quote was fine, so a couple of days later we were the happy owners of a modern new unit. The work was done to a high standard and very quickly finished. Danny was punctual and cheery and a good time was had by all. Lorraine's after service has been great and we have all the guarantees and Gas Safe paperwork in hand. I have no hesitation in Recommending this company.

GBS arrived, did a boiler service and a couple of odd jobs (install gas cooker and replace a radiator thermostat). No messing about, just got on with the job and I got to learn a few things as well. Very happy and will definitely use again for my next boiler service.

Personally always a slight anxiety when I need work doing. You don’t know what you will get and whether the person is actually going to fix the issue and not rip you off in the process. So if you have those concerns, let me put them ease. GBS attended, looked at the issue, quoted me a fair price, and then called back to book the job. David turned up today. Lovely guy. Clearly enjoy his work. The job wasn’t a particularly easy one today (toilet needed removing and a part replacing). David got on, got the job fixed really quickly, and was just a really pleasant guy throughout. I’ll be getting quotes for other work in the very near future. But first impressions are spot on and I cannot recommend highly enough!

This is the second 5 star review I am leaving for Lorraine and David. Their service has gone from the excellent to the outstanding. A couple of weeks after Dave's last visit, at which there seemed to be nothing wrong, the boiler in my tenanted flat ceased to produce hot water. Unsurprisingly, my tenant was very fed up - but Lorraine promised that Dave would come round (again) and have a look at it. She also kindly arranged his visit late in the day so that the tenant could be there too. Dave arrived when he said he would, set the boiler to rights, showed the tenant how to work it, and left it in perfect working order. Result - smiley emojis from my tenant and huge gratitude from me. When I rang to ask Lorraine for the invoice she said - unbelievably- 'No charge. We didn't do anything'. (!!) Well, they did - David even rang the Atag specialist before he came to check he knew what he needed. Thank you again, David and Lorraine for your efficiency, professionalism and kindness.

Lorraine and the team have been stars and we have been relying on them for years, from boiler replacements to issues with plumbing, toilet seats and sinks in our old home. The boiler installation in particular was spot on, they did a brilliant job with replacing one that had given us trouble for months and we’ve had a very toasty and incident free happy five years since! Sadly for us they are also very popular and I am reluctant to have work with anyone else now because of how good the experience has been. They are always transparent and clear, fair, and friendly. We have had both Josh and David, and they have been equally excellent. David in particular is such a friendly and knowledgeable presence. We would be lost without them and I recommend them wholeheartedly.

David fixed an issue that we had been dealing with for months. It was not an easy job but his knowledge & experience enabled a good resolution. Would highly recommend.

An excellent service from beginning to end. They responded very quickly to my initial enquiry with detailed information. Confirmation of my booking included all the information that I could possibly require and they arrived on time with on the day time confirmation. The work was carried out tidily and with care and attention. Advice was given and as a result my house is now much warmer and operating much more efficiently. Gas Boiler Serviced gave me unbelievably good service. My previous plumber had replaced a part in my Atag boiler, but there was still a fault. Lorraine at GBS arranged a visit the same day, but the engineer was not experienced with Atags, so sensibly suggested an Atag specialist. Dave (from GBS and experienced with Atags) agreed to go as soon as he could, but as he was busy, this week meant a week later. Incredibly, managed to fit me in the next day, checked the boiler, found everything working, told Lorraine, who rang to let me know. For all this effort, there was no charge. Incredible. At all times, Lorraine kept in touch, was helpful, informative and friendly. An amzingly good experience. Could not recommend more highly.

At last a reliable and knowledgeable heating engineer. We had our boiler serviced afer being let down and found this Company to be friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and charging a fair price. Very good communications as well which I value. Recommended and will use regular from now on.

Fantastic service and job. Contacted GBS after a boiler breakdown. A busy schedule at the start of winter meant that they could only guarantee a visit the following day but they helpfully offered to call back if they could do it sooner and then sure enough they phoned later to say they were able to squeeze us in that day, after which an engineer was with us within half an hour. To be honest, our dusty old boiler was an open goal for a less scrupulous operator to have sucked their teeth and told us we needed a new one, or extensive work. Instead, the excellent David was insistent that it was in good shape and needed no more than a replacement part and a service, which was duly conducted straightaway. He had us back up and running in no time and at a very reasonable cost. We would have no hesitation in using GBS again. If we could give them 10 stars out of 5, we would.

David & Wes fitted our new combi boiler, replacing a 20 year old one, so was anticipating an issue. However, none occurred. Also no mess, no fuss and professional. These guys are brilliant at their job. They instil lots of confidence with their knowledgeable and friendly attitude to their work. Very happy with the result. Had GBS back to do a boiler service, as was the case with all previous services arrived promptly took shoes off without a fuss due to our 3 day old carpet, very quick thorough knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. Don't scroll any further these are the team for you.

A pleasure to deal with, Lorraine in the office and David doing the work for us. A new system boiler and tank supplied and fitted during works at our house. Not only was the quote extremely reasonable, the work was done efficiently and to a high standard. I will certainly be using them to service the boiler and heating system and would have no hesitation in recommending them.

David and Wes from Gas Boiler Services did a fantastic job fixing a very tricky central heating system. They were very professional friendly and helpful… explaining what was happening and what the problems were and how they would go about fixing it. We now have a lovely warm system all ready for the winter. The hot water is hotter than ever and they have made the boiler work perfectly. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Absolutely faultless. Great impression when we first met, gave good advice regarding the various options. Happily arranged a second look when we had more questions and things we wanted. The work itself was booked in quickly and completed to a very high standard with no mess or fuss. They also found some issues with our existing plumbing that they fixed there and then.
