Richard and the team did an incredible job of everything from rip out of the entire house, adding a rear and side extension, installing kitchen as well as 5 en suite bedrooms all to a fantastic standard. Worked above and beyond, their knowledge and experience was vital to getting the project completed correctly and making us aware of things we hadn’t considered - invaluable. Great communication and I would highly recommend.

Richard took on what turned out to be probably a bigger project than expected which therefore overran a little. He was always friendly and helpful. He can turn his hand to any aspect of the job and has a broad range of knowledge and skills. He kept costs to the agreed value and only added extra costs for pre agreed additional work. He had a fairly small team at the time which meant the work relied significantly on him. We communicated regularly to get any details right. He made some good suggestions which enhanced the outcome.

We had a garage and brick built shed made into an annex with a living area, bedroom and large wet room for my elderly mother in law. The team turned up on the agreed date and installed a portable toilet (very good idea) and large skip on the drive. A roof was taken off, floors taken up, walls knocked down and skylights installed. When all the building work, insulation and plastering were complete the walls and ceilings were painted to a good standard, flooring was put down and the finish in the wet room was of a high order. There are three standards I hold workers to when at my home. One, the standard of work; two, how tidy the site is; three, whether you know they are in the house. GladeKirk were exceptional in all three of the above. The work was also conducted in the middle of the Covid pandemic and all the workers treated not only the restrictions with respect but my family as well.

Richard and his team were thorough, polite and very attentive to the job. They built a whole annexe and helped reconfigure the plans to make a better living space. I would recommend GladeKirk for any job!

Richard and his team were amazing and made this build as painless as possible for us . They listened to what we wanted, kept us involved and offered good practical advice and helpful ideas at all stages of the build from beginning to end . If we had any queries Richard would be on site straight away and any unexpected issues would be sorted. The team were very respectful and courteous on site which is really important for a 6 month build !!!! Overall, they are a very trustworthy team and I plan to have them back for more internal building work .

The team were fantastic in communicating what they were doing explaining hiw it woukd solve our problems. They were flexible in arrangements but still completed the work on time to a high standard. Delighted with their work.

Very pleasant and friendly. Super efficient. Small job but done very well.

Having been let down by a couple of builders, it was refreshing to deal with Richard who not only arrived early but promptly and efficiently got on with the job finishing within the time specified. The workmanship was excellent and I was more than happy with the cost of the job and after they had finished, everything was tidied up as though they had never been there. Full marks and I will recommend and use them again.

Everyone involved on the job was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and happy to explain what they were doing and why. I asked for a couple of minor alterations during the work, and they were happy to oblige. Excellent communication from start to finish. Work was done to a very high standard. Will use them again.

I am so pleased to have found Gladekirk Ltd. They have been renovating my house and have turned it from a hovel (where I felt ashamed to let people visit) into a light, bright and airy home which is exactly how I imagined my house would look like when I first bought it many many years ago. Richard and all members of his team have worked hard to achieve this for me; they have always been polite, respectful and friendly and have achieved miracles. My grateful thanks go to every member of the team.

We had to remove 6 heavy steel plates covering an artwork on our premises, and GladeKirk were brilliant. They attended to get a clear idea of what was required, worked with us to find a suitable time to complete, and finished the job on the day using appropriate equipment. They were very considerate and understood our specific needs, 100% would contract again.
