Jack did a great job fitting two new electrical sockets. He made it easy to find a date, arrived exactly when he said he would and was scrupulously tidy. This was the second job he’s done for me and I wouldn’t hesitate to book him again.

Jack and Dad did an exceptional job as always. They went out of their way to help move my furniture out of the way to prepare for the job, entertained the last minute change of minds and was helpful answering questions every step of the way.

Highly recommend. Installed outdoor socket for us and did an excellent job. Very responsive with clear communication throughout. Ensured job was done safely and per our needs. spoke to Jack on Saturday about wiring in a bathroom extractor fan, needed to get done asap after a few messages back and forth he said one of he's guys could fit on Sunday morning, ethan came round after a little problem with the fan (brand new) being actually damaged internally , went and got a new one while ethan waited, fan fully installed and working now. absolutely top top service from GOLD STANDARD ELECTRICAL will always be my go to electrican now if and when needed. thank you again! 10/10

Jack did a really great job of replacing an existing ceiling light with a ceiling fan. He was very responsive at the booking stage and accommodating in terms of finding a date to do the work. I’d highly recommend him.

I found jack very reliable and friendly,always turned up when he said he would and he's workmanship was excellent tidied up after job was finished would recommend him for any work you would need and would definitely use him again
Really professional job, went out his way to be helpful and accommodating to a few changes I needed on the day and gave me options to cause the least disruption. Left everything very clean and tidy. Would recommend and will definitely be getting Jack back for future work.

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Ask to see a portfolio of completed work like yours, plus recent references you can contact.
