Out of hours repair carried out to a boiler with continuously rising pressure. Quick response, friendly and informative. Showed us the best way to bleed our radiators.

We needed a boiler repair and service, as well as a full flush of our house's old radiators. plus a Hive system fitted. It was a big, two-day job. The work was excellent and thorough, and fully explained throughout the process. We will definitely use again next time we are in need.

We had come back from a six week trip to find neither the heating nor hot water worked. We had emergency cover with an insurance company. The next 10 days were a nightmare - poor quality engineering, terrible communications. In the end I took over and found Gold Star via Checkatrade. What a difference! Andre was very thorough and professional, discovered multiple problems and gave a fair quote. He then did an excellent job to fix everything. Communication was also very good. In the end he was able to charge me less than his quote as one part of the work proved easier.

Andrei turned up exactly on time in readiness to prepare my underfloor heating. Due to the way it had originally been installed, he had to undertake more work than he originally planned (extra re-wiring), but managed to do so in a very timely fashion. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, tidy, and was courteous throughout. He kept me informed of his progress during the few hours he was in my property, and left the work area very clean. I would now not use anybody else for similar jobs, and would have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone that requires any heating jobs.

Andre was on time and polite. He is personable, helpful and didn't do a hard sell. He discouraged an expensive procedure recommended by another servicer. My only gripe is that the quote for work didn't include tax and I wasn't aware of this until I came to pay the invoice. I have never had a quote for domestic work 'before tax' before.

Done a boiler service. Turned up early, very friendly and helpful.

Phoned on Monday he promised to come on Wednesday. He came as promised and completed the job having warned me that sometimes there might be a leak. There was no leak and he tested the system before tiding up and leaving.

We had a problem with the shower and Andre arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem, obtained the parts and fitted them to get the shower working as good as new.

Very pleased with this Company, Andrei turned up in the morning fully prepared, got straight on with the work. It was a difficult job as the system had not been done for many years by previous owner! He carried out the work thoroughly and efficiently making sure every section of the job was completed to a high standard. Communication was good and I was kept up to date with progress as the day went on with explanations as to what was being done. Even though it took a lot longer than expected the final bill was as the quote As a result of this I highly recommend Andrei for any plumbing work
