Graham Maddock

Graham has now decorated the whole of our house to an excellent standard. He always turned up on time and was a pleasure to have in the house. The only trace of his presence once he had finished was that everything was freshly painted or papered. We highly recommend his service.

This is the first time we have used Graham, who was recommended by a friend after we were let down by another decorator. Graham responded to our initial call straight away to look at the job. He was very professional and a gave good advise when we meet. Graham decorated our hall stairs and landing, the work was completed on time and to a very high standard with the minimum of disruption. Would highly recommended Graham and will definitely use him again.

Graham took on the painting and decorating of the interior of our whole house (which we had been upgrading to a high standard) and the paint finish is stunning. Graham impresses as he has a superb work ethic, takes the utmost pride in his work and is very organised. He listens to what the client wants, plans his work accordingly, is helpful and approachable. He has great to give guidance on what paints to use to match the high standard of the refit. Organisation and communication were very important as we had to work to a budget. He kept us informed of his timing prior to starting the work. On the job, he was helpful as regards refitting locks and draft excluders even though this was not on the original remit. Professional, approachable, helpful and kind.

Graham Maddock has recently redecorated my hall, stairs and landings. He did some work work for us some years ago and we were very happy with it so I didn't hesitate to use him again. He is very thorough and has done a wonderful job. He's also a pleasure to have in the house so I would recommend him and always call on him again to carry out any further jobs that may need doing in the future.

Graham commenced repainting the interior of my business works unit Due to the nature of the business , some out of hours work need to be done Graham totally embraced the need to do this , and carried out his works in a highly professional manner. He was courteous, informative , and was willing to adjust his workload to alleviate any problems that would impact our works . I would not hesitate in using Graham again , and would most certainly recommend him to others . A true Tradesman .

We have had Graham redecorate our hall, stairs and landing. Our walls needed stripping of wallpaper and the plaster underneath needed a lot of attention. The walls were then painted and all the woodwork rubbed down and repainted. Graham took a lot of care and seemed as keen as us to have a high quality finish. He is a very clean and tidy worker. We would definitely recommend him.

Graham has been working with me over the last year, decorating my entire house. Wallpapering and painting my bedroom, painting my guest room, spare room, lounge and hall, stairs and landing. We had to arrange this work one room at a time and Graham was extremely reliable in arranging future dates to return and continue with the next part of the project. He is extremely friendly and helpful, his work is to a very high standard and he is very tidy. He also provides great advice which has been invaluable to me.

Graham has now done three decorating jobs here over ten years and I have been extremely happy with all of his work. He has just completed the kitchen redecoration and refurbishment. He has made a really good job of it. Everything is finished to a high standard. He works consistently and is totally thorough and reliable. Graham is also very able to communicate , adapt and work out solutions to problems.

Graham has just finished working on a couple of rooms in our house. The quality of his work is excellent, and he shows real attention to detail. He did an extremely good job of stripping back, repairing and perfectly restoring a damaged old ceiling. He communicated well and always arrived exactly when he said he would, and the jobs took exactly as long as he said they would. We felt completely comfortable leaving him alone in our house with our keys. We will definitely be asking him to come back to help with future jobs.

A couple of years ago Graham decorated our lounge and later the hall and stairway to a very high standard. We had no hesitation in getting him back last month to do two bedrooms and the kitchen. He made sure that the house was left tidy every day and that the kitchen could still be used. Graham's long experience means that he is happy to listen to what the client wants but is able to advise if there may be a better/cheaper alternative. He is one of the old school and we really can't recommend him highly enough.

Graham painted my walls last year to a high standard so I did not hesitate to use him again this year to paint my doors and skirting board. Graham did an excellent job, left the place tidy every day. I was very happy that the agreed schedule and budget were adhered to. Graham was very friendly and I found his expertise and advice reassuring. I will be using Graham again for all future painting jobs.

Graham has just finished decorating our kitchen, utility and cloakroom and has done an excellent job at a fair price. The job involved painting the walls, ceiling, radiators, skirts and doors, plus hanging paper to a feature wall in the cloakroom.. Everything was completed on time and to a very high standard, with excellent surface preparation and two coats of paint on all surfaces. Graham started promptly at 8am every day working through to 4.30pm when he cleared up fully so we could still use the rooms being decorated. Graham is an "old school" professional and does a great job. Not only do I recommend him, but we have also accepted a quote for Graham to decorate our lounge and dining room and asked for a quote to decorate our hall, stairs and landing.

Graham did some great work for us last year, and we didn't hesitate in choosing him again when we wanted a couple more rooms decorating this year (including a large three-storey hallway). Once again, Graham demonstrated excellent attention to detail - as well as painting, he skillfully made good a damaged ceiling, and repaired a damaged door. We can't recommend him highly enough.

Graham has just finished decorating our living room and we are really happy with the outcome. The quality of the finish is excellent. Graham has a real attention to detail and is very friendly to have around. We have a period property, and Graham gave some excellent advice on the best approach to take. He is also very trustworthy and reliable - we were away for one week and felt very comfortable leaving Graham to carry on in our absence. He kept the house locked up safely each day and even watered the flowers! This is the second time we’ve used Graham, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

We recently had Graham spend nearly 2 weeks at our house painting our kitchen walls, ceilings and cabinets. He did a fantastic and thorough job, and we are really happy with the results. Not only that, but he was a really nice person to have around and we were completely comfortable with him being in the house. His knowledge was second to none, providing advice and input when needed (but always letting us make the final choice), and the quality of the results are telling. We would definitely use Graham again and 100% recommend him.

This is the second time we have used Graham. If you want a professional decorator that takes pride in his work, who is on time, tidy, trustworthy, gives great decorating advice, and is a lovely person to have around, then look no further than Graham. He decorated our bedroom, lounge, and front door, and even got our doorbell to work again!! He is worth every penny, and we wouldn't hesitate to call on him again if we can find more rooms for him to decorate! Thanks again, Graham.

We have engaged Graham's services several times; I believe this is the fourth or fifth time now. And every time, I promise to leave him a review and then don't get around, for which I apologise Graham! His is currently redoing our ceilings, hall and stairs and the gloss work and repainting our kitchen and dining room. He'll be finished next week. Previous jobs have included the bathrooms, main bedroom and the living room. He always does a superb job with meticulous attention to detail. If he encounters an issue, he'll talk us through our options and make suggestions, always with our best interests in mind. Communication is excellent, quality is excellent, price is very reasonable and he always leaves the place as livable as possible at the end of each day. Never had a problem with anything he's done for us.

Graham has just finished decorating the remaining two bedrooms upstairs, such that over the last 18 months he has fully re-decorated our 4 bed detached home. This time the work involved repairing a ceiling, stripping and re-papering two feature walls, emulsion to all other walls and ceilings, together with a total 12 internal doors to be painted in satinwood. All was completed in exactly the agreed timescale, to a first class finish and every day Graham fully cleared up. If you were to write down all the qualities you would like from a tradesman, Graham exhibits them all. Hardworking, punctual, great quality of work, fair prices and good communication. It says much about him that many customers, such as I, are repeat customers and he is frequently booked up months in advance. This is my second review of Graham's work and will sadly be my last as there is no more to decorate. I will miss my daily chats with Graham, which he did not allow to interrupt him working!
