Conservatory found leaking Sunday 9:30pm after heavy storm, went to Checkatrade Mike from High & Dry responded Monday 9:00am unable to come Monday but would come Tuesday between 1:pm_2:00pm, rang Tuesday 1:30pm to say"sorry will not be there till 2:30pm". Mike arrived on time ,looked at job asked if he should come back or do the job there and then,agreed a good price ,jobTOP CLASS completed , many storms since but still High & Dry. A good job done TOP MARKS

Very swift response and arrived on the same day to replace the roof slate. Whilst on the roof he noticed lead was missing around the chimney and repaired it for us. Bless him he also repaired the guttering. Beyond and above the initial problem., and on a Sunday. Superb

I can thoroughly reccomend High & Dry Roofing & Building. Mike responded to my query within 24 hours and started the work 2 days later. I have a fabulous new Conservatory EPDM rubber roof. Mike and his two assistants worked a solid 8 hours to ensure my old leaking roof was replaced in one day. An excellent job done all round. The team were polite, diligent and caring in their work and demeanor. They quoted for work, then came (to what I believe was to start) and advised that more needs to be done, which was another £2k on top of original quote. Agreed to proceed, work was done within two days and mainly well cleared up after. This is when things go down hill. It has now been 3 weeks and I have still not received my receipt (which is the 5yr guarantee).

Mike did incomplete & substandard roof repair/flat roof EPDM. He left broken tiles & did not lift & rebed all ridge tiles. He failed to attach drip facing on the dormer properly; facings were too short and loose, and the rubber felting was not affixed properly exposing wood. The rubber under the ridge tiles had folds & gaps causing them misalignment. The render was crumbling. Mike charged £5,900 & demanded his money before work was finished. To repair botched job cost an additional £1,500 to a different roofer. Mike promised to refund £1,500 but only refunded £1,000, & stopped answering calls!

Everything about the company and the work they did was fast, professional, and solved a long term flat roof problem speedily, tidily and without fuss. We have had some heavy rain since and not a sign of the leaks the old roof had presented. Lovely people!!

new roof and gutter job - he rang me to ask my address, which I shared on checkatrade. he said he would call out the next day, I rang him the next day to see what time he was coming and he hadn't a clue who I was or what was going on! Lost the job fella

Mike was absolutely brilliant from start to finish and I cannot recommend him too highly. He will be my first point of contact if I ever need a roofing professional again. From first contact and erecting scaffolding, to completing a job that was not that straightforward Mike and his team worked incredibly quickly. He kept me informed of progress at every stage, even providing photographs of the problems to explain things. Mike used his experience and tenacity to isolate a difficult to find second leak in quick time, proving his determination to provide great customer satisfaction.

They turned up quickly to suit my timeframe. However after leaving site early and needing to come back another day to finish the job they never came back after myself consistently asking them to complete the job.
