Hyde Electrical have worked throughout our renovations fitting in with other trades as needed. They have pretty much done all the electrical work from new sockets, to lights, towel rails and now our certification. The guys are always friendly, on time, do a good job and clean up after themselves, what more can you ask for?

We had a very dark lounge, with very dull and unimaginative lighting. Hyde Electrical advised us to have LED down lighters, positioned in zones. The work was carried out professionally and for what we believe to be good value for money. This lighting has made a massive difference to the feeling of the room.

From start to finish of job they were very efficient. Recommended.

The issue we'd ask them to come out about turned out to be a minor one, so the electrician offered to give some general advice and answer some other questions we had around the house. We asked Hyde to quote for some work to remediate some poor quality wiring that we had discovered in our house, remove an old alarm that was to be replaced and relocate a CAT6 network port. They were very quick to respond to our enquiry, to perform a survey and turn around a quote. The quote was very reasonable. As soon as we accepted the quote the work was scheduled in. On the day he arrived promptly, and got straight on with the job. The work was completed quickly, with no fuss, and to a very high standard. Mess was kept a minimum. All in all, a fantastic job. Very highly recommended

Hyde Electrical undertook the installation of a charge point for an electric car. The work was completed on a convenient date and took a whole day as the installation had a few challenges. Hyde had to undertake some quite complex issues - not all of them electrical - and he showed an innovative approach to solving them which has resulted in a delightful installation. The trader had a very pleasant and good-humoured manner. One snag was that he didn't have the actual unit he was installing when he attended but the situation was solved within a few days.

This firm fitted the electrics on my extension 7 years ago and I called them back after a light switch wore out, which they replaced quickly.

Richard replaced an old fuse box with a new consumer unit and upgraded the main earth cable. He is a very friendly efficient worker, he left everything in a clean and tidy manner on completion. He was on time and the budget was very reasonable and as agreed. I would definitely recommend his services and in fact, I would only use him for my electrical jobs.

All works completed quickly, tidily with no fuss. Completed exactly to estimate. We are extremely satisfied with all of the work carried out and will use Hyde Electrical again when the need arises.

Richard of Hyde Electrical clearly knows what he's doing and, when the client might not, he takes the time out to explain what he's doing and why giving you options and advice without any pressure. Rightly so, your safety is clearly of paramount importance to this firm. With Electricians, possibly more than any other trade, it's important to have confidence in the person you are dealing with as any shortcomings can be literally life-threatening . Unfortunately, I have encountered more than my fair share of cowboy electricians during my lifetime but happily Hyde Electrical are the real deal. I just wish I'd found them earlier.

I called Richard when I found I had no hot water. He came out the same day and quickly identified the issues with my Nest thermostat and solar iBoost. He was very helpful and advised on further actions that I needed to take. I was very happy with the service and can recommend him.

Hyde Electrical advised me on the EV chargers I required as I have solar panels and needed to prioritise car charging. Having been introduced to HE by my usual (and trusted) electrician I took his advice and accepted their (reasonable) quote. The installer (Richard) came at the time specified, installed the two units with no fuss, and set up the software and the apps on my smartphone. I do not imagine I will have to install EV chargers again but if I did I would use Hyde Electrical and I will certainly recommend them to friends.
