Andy is a total gentleman and was in frequent touch ahead of the work being done. They not only tidied up after the doors were fitted, as well as taking away my old doors, they also took away other rubbish I had! I will definitely be using Andy and the team again for future jobs. l highly recommend Andy and the team - great job, thanks guys."

After the initial meeting with Andy to share my plans and (somewhat unusual!) ideas, I knew they were the right company for the job. Andy thinks outside the box.. he really listened and understood my vision and enhanced this with his own ideas and creativity. This culminated in bespoke details like booths with fabric I liked that Andy went out of his way to source and a counter purpose built to accommodate my specific requirements. In fact, the entire A.Davis team were, without exception, friendly and respectful..they really went above and beyond during the renovation. The easiest part of this process has been having one point of contact from start to finish who always answered the phone and got things done. The feedback from my customers since we opened the café has been outstanding. I am absolutely delighted and would not hesitate to recommend A.Davis Joinery & Building company."

Andy’s team fitted my IKEA kitchen without any issues, they came exactly on time and did a great job. I’m very happy with the workmanship! They’ve also laminated my living room and it looks like new now. But the most impressive thing was that they were able to accommodate my super narrow time-frame! Andy has great time managing skills and is a good manager! Terrific job Andy and his team have done! I am very grateful and appreciate all the hard work you’ve done. Definitely recommend them.

Never pay a large deposit up front — agree a staged payment schedule tied to completed milestones, and hold a small retention until snagging is done.
Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
