We found Dave to be very punctual, conscientious and efficient. I would highly recommend him, and his work to anyone looking for an electrician.
We have had a couple of electrical jobs completed by Dave at Ivybridge Electrical Solutions ltd. Firstly he fitted an outside plug for us last summer, and more recently changing a gas hob over to an induction hob. Both jobs were done to a high standard. Dave came over initially to put everything in place that we needed for the changeover, but still allowing us to use the hob until the Gas engineer had capped off the gas. Once that job was done, Dave came straight over to fit the induction hob. So we were not without a hob. We're very happy with Dave's work, he always leaves a job clean and tidy, plus his communication is excellent. I highly recommend!

Before you hire an electrician
In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
