John was very professional completed the job a day early. Was very tidy and his work is amazing. I would highly recommend him. Reasonable as well. We are all very happy with our new kitchen and would use him again.

Fantastic carpenter. Can make anything work. John made a three story oak staircase out of one inch oak planks. What a skill.

John replaced out kite and winders stairs balustrades and handrails. The quality of the finished work is first rate and was completed in the time agreed. John is punctual and always leaves the workplace clean and tidy. He is very friendly, drinks lots of tea, but it's pleasure to have him in the house. John is a craftsman takes great pride in his work. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. I hope to employ him again for my next carpentry project.

Great job carried out by job. Swift reply, great communication and quote. He understood and carried out what we wanted in terms of classic spindles and under stair pull out storage. Fairly specialised work and John carried it out to a very high standard. Would wholeheartedly recommend him and we are considering to contact him for further work.

Our stairs had no bannisters or newel posts. We rang several traders, lots of them were busy, our job was too small. John was great, he asked what we wanted, looked at photos, gave us a quote. When he arrived he discussed again what we wanted, and explained how he was going to do it. He carried out the work as we had discussed, to a good standard, not too noisy, and quickly. He left the place neat and tidy. He was pleasant to be around. Would definitely recommend, and have kept his number in case we have more carpentry jobs.

John did an excellent job installing new spindles and handrails on our staircase and landings. He was quick, very tidy/clean, professional, friendly and helpful. He took the time to discuss with us ideas and options. Very glad we found him as it's not often easy finding a reliable contractor. I would have given him 5 stars on value if he was free!
