Very happy with Mike and his sons’ work - they completely re-tiled the roof, including felting and batons as well as rebuilding three chimneys. They did an excellent job, explaining everything as they went and giving different options in case of needing repair. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to other people.

Mike and sons did an excellent job on a complicated roof configuration which in parts was a 140years old. The craftsmanship was excellent and every defect was photographed, discussed and a price agreed prior to proceeding with the job. I would unquestionably recommend MR Jones &Sons for any roofing work.

Had an animal knock a tile from my roof leaving an hole. Called Jones and Sons and they were all too happy to help. When they came around I showed them the problem and they had it fixed within half an hour. They were very knowledgeable and helpful with my issue and I would definitely use their services again should I need it. I totally recommend them.

I contacted Mike Jones last Saturday morning about a leak in our hallway after a storm. It wasn't gushing through, so we agreed on Monday am for an inspection. Mike arrived on time and was friendly and business-like. He spotted where the water might be getting in and made a repair there and then. Though it was a relatively minor job and didn't take long, we were astonished he didn't charge us - will definitely recommend to others - thank you Mike!

Our roof was in a bit of a state when we contacted Mike, having had work done by people without the competence for the job. We were scared of getting yet another similar job, but Mike reassured us, he had the right qualities, insurance and references .He gave understandable explanations of what needed to be done and why, accommodated our (limited) budget so we got affective repairs within our means, kept in contact through the work , kept his word and worked solidly when he was with us. We were so pleased with the results. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

The work was carried out to a high standard, by professionals who were friendly, and clearly knew what they were doing. Everything was explained well and our garden was left tidy afterwards. We’re very pleased with the quality of the repair and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mike and his team.

We had a big roof leak at our porch and bedroom. Mike came over the same day and quickly identified that the roof membrane had perished and gone brittle. Also I knew that quite a bit of our fascia’s and soffits had gone rotten and needed replacing. We agreed to go ahead and Mike sorted out the scaffolding within a week. Mike and his sons arrived to start work and were very polite and hardworking at all times. They would always knock on the door on arrival and at the end of the day with an update, if there were any problems or decisions to be made and kept me informed throughout. It was a pleasure to have them work for us. There were other problems as things developed, but that’s what happens when you leave things for too long. The weather wasn’t in our favour, but we the lads would battle through as much as possible. Promptly visited and gave a quote with time scale and cost. Came as expected and undertook the roof repair on the day he said, but it was very cold wet weather. At the end of the day left some mortar in the gutters and after pointing the gables cement was left on the PVC fascia. Promptly returned when requested to do so, to tidy up. Very satisfied with workmanship and helpfulness. Trustworthy and will use again
