"I asked JPH to do a full rewire, replace the fuse board and do other necessary work on my 1960s bungalow prior to replastering and decoration; I was nevertheless surprised with the neatness of their work, leaving no doubt as to their suitability even for homeowners not planning a major refurbishment! They had more than sufficient knowledge and experience to fit a comprehensive data network for me to work at home and use smart TVs without the usual wi-fi problems. The spotlights fitted exceeded my expectations & JPH helpfully fitted other lights purchased by me. All work was done to an exceptionally high standard, within very reasonable timescales and at a very fair price. I am an extremely happy customer!"

Did an excellent job, always on time and did the work when they said they would. Very good manner and attitude. Clean and tidy work,I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone."

My whole house was re-wired. I was extremely impressed with Jake’s advice throughout and considerate of the attention to detail he and his team gave. He suggested new places to put plugs and suggested various USB charging points too. I had a Nest thermostat which he re positioned too to a much better place than where I had it installed. Overall, great value for money. Jake was contactable throughout and very professional.

Before you hire an electrician
In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
