We are delighted with our new slate roof and very impressed with the process from start to finish. The initial assessment of our problem was carried out by Jake with drone footage which was very useful. He arrived at the time he said he would and the detailed quote was prepared quickly stating our options. Jake kept us informed of progress during the work and any queries were dealt with promptly. Charlie , Connor and Has were courteous, considerate and conscientious . They arrived for work at the time they said they would. The site was left clean and tidy at the end of each day, they were very happy to explain what they were doing, the progress they were making and they have done a great job. Thank you.

I contacted Langdon Roofing regarding a chimney which appeared to be letting in water. They convinced me to let them replace the flat roof over my kitchen extension. I was promised a superior three layer torch on felt replacement roof but what I got was an inferior roof to the one they replaced. It is made up of a patchwork of felt and doesn't lie flat. The work took the men less than a day yet the cost was £3451.

Jake responded very promptly to our request for a quote and when we met him we felt confident that he was very knowledgeable about his area of work and made helpful suggestions as to how to proceed. He booked our flat roof repair in quickly so we didn't wait long at all to get it done. Jake and his colleague turned up on time, were polite and friendly, and carried out the work in a professional manner, leaving everything tidy. The work looks neat and well done. Langdon Roofing Ltd replaced old fascias, soffits and barge boards with UPVC, replaced gutters and downpipes and resurfaced a lower level flat roof. The team worked hard and efficiently, clearing up well after themselves. They were polite and ready to answer questions, offering advice when the extent of a damaged roofline could be assessed and discussing options. Two minor issues raised after completion were rectified swiftly to my complete satisfaction and I am very pleased with the result.

This company did an excellent job replacing my skylight and my flat roof. I will be using them again for my gutter repair on the front of my house. So grateful for the patience of the team with me as I am deaf. Would highly recommend this company.

Excellent in every aspect. Jake was a pleasure to meet and the lads that carried out the work were lovely also. They were happy to answer any questions we had and reassure us and they worked diligently and carefully. They took the trouble to make the new tiles on the roof match as close as possible to the existing. They also cleared and tidied up really well. Disappointed by the lack of knowledge how to convert a cold flat roof to a warm flat roof. It took Langdon Roofing more than 10 months and 2 re-works to do the work correctly and with the correct materials. They postponed the original work 3 times and disappeared to a different job after the first day and postponed the re-work 2 times. Trader refused to come out when we raised issues, and the customer service throughout was poor: don't answer their office phone, take days to reply to emails, didn't keep promises made, tried to deceive us on warm roof construction. We had to revert to using the ombudsman arbitration service to get Langdon Roofing to complete the required work. It took us more than 10 months to get the roof we paid for, and we had to fight all the way.

Jake returned my call regarding a roof leak. He visited the property the next day and carried out the repair there and then. Very pleased with his work and response time. Would contact him again if needed.

I rang Langdon roofing this morning as I realised I had a leak last night. Jake was quick and came round in the morning to survey my roof to identify where the leak was coming from. Later today he had his works round to replace the broken tile and to repair the lead work around the chimney stack. Would highly recommend and would certainly use them again. Very quick and on the ball.

The staff were polite and professional and kept me informed of what they were doing as they went along. I especially liked the fact that they wear gear that promotes the company and the van they arrived in had this on to. The MD I dealt with was very polite and talked me through what materials etc. would be used on the flat roof. I was also given a 30 year guarantee on the workmanship and materials used. The cost I felt was reasonable having done my research on this. I had previously used this company to do the flat roof on my garage. Overall a very positive experience.

Lovely bunch of guys very helpful and punctual took photos of work being done so I could see every step as could not see from ground level. Very polite and very tidy and cleaned every area of work left every clean very happy and would recommend then also the owner mr Langdon was always around which was very reassuring.
