On Thursday evening I contacted LDA Plumbing regarding a problem I had with my toilet cistern after being let down by another company. Lee emailed me back and apologised that he could not help me as he was unwell. Lee gave me two different plumbers numbers but they didn’t reply to my messages. Throughout the morning Lee contacted me several times to see if I had heard anything. This afternoon (Friday) Lee managed to come out and have a look at the problem. Service engineer informed he can attend in a few days, requested photos of toilet leak etc. After sending this requested info, engineer deemed issue was quite serious and said he would attend ASAP. Engineer attended same day and quickly diagnosed fault, carried out repairs. Job done within 1 hour. Very friendly and knowledgeable service. Highly recommended.

Found ourselves in a spot, as leak to pipe in bathroom, which could not fix. Lee came to ours, a couple of hours after we called and sorted. No fuss, just dealt with issue promptly and efficiently. Due to age of installation, fix required an updated part which was not a direct replacement. This raised other installation problems, but I was kept informed with an explanation. Very happy with quality of work and professional attitude. Would use again.

On 12th March I contacted LDA Plumbing as central heating was not working properly (boiler running but radiators cold). Next day he had a look and tried several things, including replacing the pump. Still not working too well, so decided he needed to flush the system, which he did one week later. This revealed further problems and we ended up replacing the boiler. LDA Plumbing were very quick to respond and do the work. Kept me informed throughout by text and sent photos of issues he uncovered. By 28th March it was all done. Excellent service and I won’t hesitate to use them again.

Had a serious water leak in kitchen behind built in fridge freezer. Water appeared to be coming through ceiling. Lee came and removed the built in cupboard which was a difficult job. He managed it with no damage and found the leak coming from pipe valve which was plastered into the wall. Lee chased out the plaster, installed new pipes and valves. Managed to get built in cupboard back as it was before. Lee is a very experienced plumber and gas fitter and will definitely use him again.

From the first contact with Lee, he was professional, courteous, helpful, punctual. He is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain everything. Over the past few months, he has done several plumbing jobs in my flat, and am especially grateful he identified that my new electric unvented hot water cylinder (fitted a year ago) hadn't been correctly installed by the plumber I used then - the poor quality plus some incomplete works meant it didn't comply with Building Regulations. Lee rectified those issues to ensure it is now compliant. I have happily recommended Lee on several occasions.

My toilet has had a partial blockage for a couple of months and always had a weak flush and slow filling cistern. I eventually found Lee on checkateade and called him, as I knew I couldn’t take a plunger to the toilet with me forever and was getting really stressed. He was with me within 30 minutes of the call. The blockage was moved, and he came back the next day and fixed the underlying problem in under an hour. So happy with the service and the price, I wish I had called him earlier. Couldn’t have been more helpful and it was all sorted so quickly.
