I called Reid electrical after an immersion boiler issue in my flat They were punctual, turned up on time and initially were helpful. However they were unable to resolve the problem and treated my like an idiot when I tried to explain that I thought they were missing an obvious problem. I then called back the plumber - who was not able to help me so suggested I call the electrician back. So I called Reid again who returned but were rather annoyed at having to return but still charged me a repeat call out fee and didn't even properly solve the issue.

I would use again, they were very professional.

Reid replaced my electric hob and did appliance tests at my rental. They were quick to respond, gave a very fair quote and the time taken was as quoted. As I'm abroad, they worked with my tenants who reported a clean thorough job done, and were pleased with the results. Also, he advised me that i did not need some work I thought I needed. Another electrician had simply quoted for that work without advising me. So Reid scored trust points on that one!

What fantastic service. Some one was able to come over the same day I made the call and they had sorted out the problem in no time. The guys where very polite, and worked quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be using them again and would recommend them to any one.

Reid Electrical completed two simple jobs for me, fixing two light sockets that were not working. They were professional and did a good job, even donating to a charity cycle ride that one of my tenants was completing. Only cautionary thing that I would say is that the prices that they initially quote exclude VAT.

I called Desmond speculatively at 10am & he arrived within 1 hour despite already having other appointments that day. Desmond fixed my faulty light fixture within 20 minutes and was very friendly, explaining what he was doing & why as he worked! Desmond even offered me a discount because he took less time that expected to fix the problem & I showed a keen interest, acting as his assistant. He left a minimal amount of mess for me to clean up afterwards.

Small job for my in-laws in South London, disconnecting an unwanted electrical supply. Very friendly and reliable. A good job done and would have no hesitation in using them again.

Hired Desmond of Reid Electrical to install a new chandelier and also new garden light. Could not have got a better guy to do this work. Such a nice guy, very professional, and highly skilled. Got the job done extra quick time and even gave me a free LED bulb which I needed. Price is very reasonable for London. Just before Christmas I needed to have gas safety checks done. despite it being close to Christmas Reid electrical carried out this job quickly and with minimal issues. very happy to have it done before Christmas.
