Mac Construction did a fantastic job on a remodel of our Kitchen, removing walls, creating a new WC and new window openings. The whole team at Mac were a pleasure to deal with. I have used MAC Construction on a previous project for a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment and was impressed with the workmanship and communication. I appointed Mac again for a chimney breast removal along with decorating 2 bedrooms. Once again they done a superb job and I would highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience with Mac Construction from start to finish. I was an overseas landlord when they did the work so took a lead of faith and bit trust. I was so happy with my experience and quality of work. We did a full house refurbishment with them. I appreciated the detail quote and explanation of the scope of work and options presented. They took the time to explain the quote and were always so responsive with any questions. They didn't push for more expensive options and I felt I had total control through the project. I loved how the project was set up giving clear plan for each week. The quality of the work was great and I appreciated how the team kept me up to date throughout. Communication was superb. We have used MAC construction for a number of projects over the last three years, including renovating our kitchen and bathroom, structural work to knock rooms together and install new windows/bifolding doors, and various decorating jobs. The business stood out from the start due to the prompt, detailed quotes provided and excellent communication from Fay and team. The team are friendly, polite, experienced and above all very hard working. They worked through evenings and weekends on a number of occasions to complete jobs on time. All rubbish was removed from the site and the team were proactive about addressing any snagging issues. We have recommended MAC to a number of neighbours and friends and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a builder in south east London.

Brilliant company, every single person working for MAC is professional, positive and considerate. Nothing was too difficult or too small to pick up on our ten week kitchen project. Snagging queries dealt with very promptly and thoroughly. All trades very courteous, tidy and completed high quality work. Natasha is a great communicator and has a thorough understanding of the work. Fay runs a very tight ship, a pleasure to work with.

MAC recently completed the renovation of our new house and I couldn't recommend them more highly for the whole range of trades they cover.

I had a leak in my bathroom caused by loose pipework, which caused damage to my kitchen ceiling. Fay's team came and accessed the job and gave me a quote. They started work on 17th June and estimated it would take just over a week to complete. I have to say the whole team were very nice and more important they were on time and clean and tidy. Natasha in the office kept me fully informed on who would be on site every day and Fay also visited regularly to check on the works. I am very pleased with the work and you cannot tell that I had a leak, as although they did not paint the entire kitchen ceiling it looks fantastic! I would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

It was a complicated job with difficult access due to the house being next to a business. They went above and beyond to help us arrange the work, and completed addition things that occurred as the job got under way. They were flexible and communicative throughout. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Mac are very friendly and professional to work with. Their communication and punctuality were faultless. A few issues cropped up with the tiling as we noticed an inconsistency with the tile pattern after install. They were very forthcoming with coming to a solution and offered a reduction in the quote to make up for their mistake. There was also a minor error made with installing the shower however they swiftly returned to correct it and I am left with a gorgeous and functional bathroom. A little more clean focus on clean up after the work could have been good as my outdoor space was left very dusty and with a few bits of dried grout splattered around but otherwise I am very satisfied with the work and would recommend Mac to anyone looking to get work done in the area.

In terms of scoping the works, the team are very easy to deal with, take time to understand the brief and provide helpful guidance, give a transparent cost estimate and clear work schedule they propose to work towards. When we had to amend the scope at certain points throughout the project, they were flexible, responsive and accommodating. In terms of works carried out, all was done to a very high standard with good attention to detail. The project management was very organised and clearly communicated to us each week. The team were professional, polite and respectful to have around (which was important since we were living on site!) and nothing was too much trouble. We hope to work with MAC again in future.
