With over 20 years experience, I specialise in hanging murals and wallpapers with intricate patterns and complicated designs where accuracy is paramount. I’ve an abundance of experience handling different papers from the very delicate to wide widths that require different hanging techniques. I’m not fazed by awkward spaces or working at height. Previous projects have included erecting platforms and towers over seven meters high to hang wallpaper, walls with large arch windows as well as many small arch windows, mezzanines and tall stairways/hallways. I operate with a small team, which means we are agile and able to work quickly and efficiently causing minimum disturbance. We pride ourselves on taking great care while working in your family home. I regularly liaise with interior designers, ensuring both your vision and theirs is implemented. I work with an extensive range of wallpapers and paints including Casamance (Paris), Designers Guild, Cole & Son, Osborne & Little, Limonta (Italian wall couture), Palazzo, Harlequin and Romo. And use paints by Farrow & Ball, Little & Greene and Zoffany. What to expect •I protect all floors and furnishings with the appropriate coverings. •Advise moving any furniture that can be stored elsewhere, but will also help move large items and provide a work around where possible. •Carry out any repair works to walls and skirting including raking out due to shrinkage and cracking, if required. •I use a laser to ensure precision measuring and carefully remove sockets to ensure close papering around light switches. •We use dustless sanding equipment to always ensure the least amount of dust particles in the air. •We pay particular attention to neatly papering around doorways and burglar alarms. •If curtains, voiles and blinds cannot be easily protected then I recommend taking them down (we will always ask permission first) Curtain embraces that are fitted to walls are also removed to guarantee no damage and ensure a tidy finish.
