MACE8 LTD took on a large project that we undertook to convert a very large commercial building into 2 large 4 bedroomed dwellings, a 3 bedroomed flat, a 2 bedroom apartment together with an hairdressers. Martin and his team had come highly recommended to us. The company was keen to take on, what for me, was a great challenge. The team was very punctual, polite and very tidy with their work. They were very professional and courteous at all times whilst they were working on site showing and displaying great courtesy and understanding to the neighbours of the adjoining property. We experienced a number of issues during the project but nothing was too much trouble for Martin, he always found and came up with the solutions to make the work less stressful for me. I was happy and grateful to have Martin on board and was so reassured that he was always there, if not, he was always on the end of a phone to answer any questions or resolve any issues I had. MACE8 now maintain all my properties.

Martin has carried out numerous jobs for me now, very impressed by everything he does, alway on time and turns up when he says he is going to , very clean and tidy and professional in what he does

Had a brand new bathroom fitted. Really happy with the end result and for a great value for money. Regular communication and updates throughout the work. Would highly recommend Martin and his co workers who were always punctual and very passionate about doing a good job. Cracking job.

Recharged expansion vessel in boiler had no trouble since

I had an emergency issue with my boiler, not having hot water and central heating. Martin came to my house the next day to assess the boiler and what work was required. Martin then repaired the boiler, fitting new Parts the following day. Excellent turn a round and my boiler is back up and running again. I cant thank Martin enough.

Bought a new shower and mace were ther within 3 days to fit it. Fantastic job. 1 hour early and a great price. Highly recommended.

A very polite couple of men. I had a leak in the bathroom which they had to locate before repair. The leak spanned the bathroom and bedroom. The finding of the leak and the repair were done efficiently and all items of furniture that needed to be moved were put back in their place leaving everything neat and tidy. As far as cost is concerned they are very reasonable and if I need a plumber again my first port of call would be Mace 8 Ltd without question.

Plumbing in a small dishwasher. The guys were friendly, fast, and clear about their plans, and asked me how I wanted it. They didn't leave any mess. Pricing was good value. The dishwasher works absolutely fine.

We were really happy with the radiator change Martin did for my mum. He was knowledgeable, and did a clean and tidy job. He was very kind and respectful to my mum who is vulnerable. We will definitely use him again, and would definitely recommend.

I rang on Monday 3rd after finding their number on trust a trader and Martin was really professional and polite. I told them about the work and he asked for a couple of photos to decide what he needed. He said he'd get to us the same week even though the Easter holidays were starting at the weekend . He actually came on the Wednesday and was early, he got the job done neatly and efficiently. I won't embarrass anyone saying what he wanted for the work but it was very reasonable. I gave them both some extra as we were so grateful and happy to get the work done so quickly. I have just had a serious operation and felt very helpless regarding the work myself, but I needn't have worried leaving it in the hands of Martin and his mate. They exceeded any expectations. Amazing service, was new to the area so was nervous but made a great decision. Martin was flexible in terms of timing and very informative around what i needed. Overall very pleased with my service would defo recommend it to anyone local to Halifax.

My boiler was losing pressure so I contacted the tradesman based on good reviews and he arrived later that day and got the problem sorted within 1 hour without fuss. Nice guy too, and reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
