Mark has done work for me on three separate occasions. Each time he arrived punctually at the arranged time and carried out his work neatly and in a conscientious manner. The work varied from changing a light fitting to a full installation of our new extension. All of which was done to a high standard and to the agreed price. I have recommended Mark to friends and will not hesitate to do so in the future. Excellent.

I renovated my house whilst living in it, Mark priced my re-wire very keenly indeed and came back at various stages through out the renovation, he came in and done work whilst we were at work to a very good standard and when needed to adjust a couple of jobs after being paid up he was back the very same day. I would recommend mark to anyone wanting a quality and reliable electrician.

I required an electrician to put some lights / sockets in my newly built workshop. I found Mark on this site, so I contacted him and he popped round when he said he would. The work was carried out professionally and he was polite. He explained what he was doing and why at all stages. At the end he hovered up and left no mess. I now have lights and sockets in my workshop and all for a very reasonable price.

First time I have used this electrician I found him thorough, polite, punctual and prepared to come out on a Saturday - I would definitely recommend.

We found Mark efficient, friendly and reliable. Mark did the electrics for new extension plus other smaller jobs initially, which is why we gave Mark more business. Mark didn't mind doing smaller jobs and was quick and good value. I would recommend Mark to anyone, the work conducted was excellent, good quality and to a professional standard.

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
