Mark did an excellent job of decorating my kitchen/dining room. He was very friendly and professional and I was able to trust him with the keys to my property. He was very thorough and left everything nice and tidy as well. This was the first time I've used Mark but have already booked him to also do some outside painting.

I booked Mark for an interior painting job for my flat. Took a few weeks to book in due to Covid, but Mark was responsive throughout and started on the date anticipated. Total professional, provided good advice and did a great job. Was friendly and efficient (and was very understanding when I was delayed granting him access to the flat on the first day!). No delays from his side and job was completed within the time and cost anticipated. Very happy with the work and am actually asking him to quote for a couple of additional jobs too.

I asked Mark to decorate my son's bedroom. It was a tight timescale as we wanted it done before we moved into the house, but Mark was very accommodating and managed to fit us in. Mark turned up when he said he would and finished by the time we agreed. He was, at all times, pleasant, helpful (eg collecting the paint for me as I don't drive) and reliable. My son's room looks great, and both my son and I are delighted with it. I've asked Mark to quote to decorate the rest of the house and I can't wait until it's all looking as good as my son's bedroom! I was looking for a painter/decorator for a repaint job. After calling around several traders, I decided to go with Mark for three main reasons: 1) He came to the property himself to directly assess what work was required, took exact measurements and discussed with me the different types of paint and other solvents needed for the best result. He answered all my questions in detail, which I appreciated a lot. 2) He was able to guarantee the completion of the job within a short deadline, which incidentally included starting on a weekend at 8am to finish by mid week afternoon. 3) The quote provided had clear work details, breakdown of the costs and was competitively priced. Not only did he finish the job earlier than expected, he was always unfailingly courteous and friendly. The result of his work was extremely clean and professional too - in fact, he left the property cleaner than it was originally! Additionally, on receiving the final invoice, it totalled slightly cheaper as the materials costed a little less than expected. I highly recommend Mark, not only for the quality of his work and flexibility to fit to your schedule, but also for his honesty and amazing work ethic. I will certainly be returning to him for other future jobs!

Mark decorated living room, 3 bedrooms and hallway after re-wiring and re-plastering, finishing off the fiddly bits which the plasterer had left. He was reliable, friendly and left everything clean and tidy, we hope he will do some other work in due course.

Mark did a great job painting the exterior of our house, staircase, hall and landing. He was good humoured throughout and I have no hesitation in recommending him. Mark repaired an internal wall that had been damaged by water and then painted the room in my chosen colour. The work was completed promptly and the room was kept clean as it was progressing. I am very satisfied and will use this trader again.

The whole experience from our initial conversation with Mark to completion of the work was handled very professionally. Mark was very easy to speak to and carefully detailed our requirements. Mark did an excellent job painting the exterior of our house. He made helpful suggestions when quoting and everything was done within the planned schedule and budget. Mark came in person for the initial visit, so that he could properly assess what preparation was needed and discussed what we wanted. He then gave a quote and expected time frame which was adhered to. He did an excellent job, fully prepping the surface of exterior wood and also restored the interior wooden floor by careful sanding before applying the specialist oils/paint, which we supplied. When there was a slight problem with the oils drying , he fully researched the solution and came back to fix it and did not take payment till we were fully happy. It all looks great inside and out, and he is a proper professional tradesman that you can trust to decorate your place with care and attention. He starts early and works hard, is quiet and unintrusive and just gets on with it! He has plenty of work on, but we have already asked him to quote on more work that needs doing!

Mark was recommended to me by a very good plasterer who has worked for me before. Mark gave me a competitive price for the full redecoration of a 3-bed house. I would rate Mark 10/10 for his work. He goes the extra mile, pays attention to detail and takes care in what he does. Mark worked very hard on my job, putting in long hours to get it done quickly. I plan to get him to do my future decoration work.

I found Mark via Which TrustedTrader and I have to say his work was absolutely exemplary. We are incredibly pleased with the finish both internally and externally on our 3 bedroom home. Mark certainly has an eye for perfection and went above and beyond for us, not only with regard to the painting job but becoming good friends with both us and our pet dog Flint in the time he spent at our home! He did an excellent job, fully prepping the surfaces, painting inside and out including all woodwork, walls, ceilings, kitchen and bathrooms, water pipes and windowsills, and even returning to do some touch-ups after carpets were fitted in our very dated home.
