I manage a Grade II listed building in Central London. When I started here 6 years ago, I engaged Marylebone Interiors after shopping around. Since then, not only have been an utterly responsive and professional contractor for minor works but they have completed 4 sizeable projects (GBP50-90k) in the building. This has involved undertaking heritage restoration work as well as complete refurbishment of function rooms. They have provided expert advice and completed the projects to time and on budget.

A total renovation of a 3 level Georgian Town house in London, Marylebone. Being experienced renovators of different sizes of houses in different countries this experience has been one of the best. A very nice team of qualified experts in different areas that work extremely well and effectively together. Their efficiency and high quality of work made it possible for us to work directly with this team without the architect involved during the renovation and building period. Marylebone has done excellent work for us since 2009. First they completely renovated our flat and subsequently have done repairs to it due to water incursion from the flat above. They have also renovated a second apartment for us and are in the process of upgrading our radiators there. Jon and his team have been very careful, professional, reliable and I wholeheartedly recommend them.

A GBP1.8m project to replace the heating and air conditioning system in a luxury apartment block of 72 units of varying sizes and internal structures

The hot tap in our bathroom handbasin developed an annoying drip. There seemed little or no hope of repair. Both the handbasin taps had been screwed and glued in place over fifty years ago (my wife and I moved into the flat in 1973). An additional difficulty was the fact that they were attached to what were probably the original lead pipes with brass fittings (the block - Sandringham Court, 99 Maida Vale - was built in 1907). We wanted the old taps removed and replaced with new ones. Marylebone Interiors London Ltd sent two highly professional plumbers to accomplish this task. It took the two of them one and a half hours to do so and involved cutting away the old taps with a very noisy machine. They had to take great care not to crack the handbasin. Attaching the new taps was an easier task, though great care had to be taken to avoid damaging the lead pipes. The total cost involved was £255, which I thought was rather a lot. But with my wife's and my combined ages of 161, we are inclined to think of most things today as very expensive! Anyway, I have just sent them a cheque with our sincere thanks for a difficult job well done.
