From the outset Matt has been a pleasure to speak with. Straightforward quote and working with his colleague, Matt got the work done in the time he estimated and to a high standard. Will be calling them again in the future if more work needed.

Communication was poor from the get go. Took a while and some chasing to get the initial quote in. Once the work had been completed he left all the rubbish beside my driveway which wasn’t cleared until a week later. Most messages went unanswered and emails were bouncing back. When he finally responded he told me that he’d been abroad and so he couldn’t use his phone. I wouldn’t have expected emails to be bouncing back though he could have had an out of office response. Added to all this the roof isn’t fully draining when it rains. He promised to come and have a look but never showed up

Matt came when he said he would, which is a bonus these days! He did a good, professional job in a reasonable time span and cleared all the old tiles and wood away quickly when the job was finished. He did exactly what he said he would do when he quoted.

Friendly and helpful. Did a good job. The chimney to be removed had been bodged by previous workmen and Matt had to do extra to sort it out. He did so without complaint.

Matt made contact shortly after my job was posted on line. His approach to the Job was extremely professional throughout enabling him to ascertain the exact problem. He arrinved, as agreed, the following morning and successfully carried out the job having first explained exactly what he was proposing to do A bit early to really comment on quality but so far so good

Matt turned up as expected, did the job, no fuss, no mess. Great experience.

Matt installed a dry Ridge system and dry verge system. I recently went into the loft and noticed a leak from the dry ridge. Dry verge system is not flush to the roof either. I contacted Matt to inform him of the leak back in July but even though I have contacted Matt on numerous occasions since I have received no feedback as to how the issue will be resolved.

From start to finish, Matt Merry Roofing made a big job as pain free as possible. Communication was outstanding from Matt, providing lots of information and quick responses when I had queries. Lee and Nathan were both absolute stars getting the work completed, going above and beyond to keep to time without compromising quality. We couldn't be happier with the work done. 10/10 customer service - would recommend them to anyone and will certainly go to them first for any future work.

Matt gave excellent advice on a number of jobs and quoted for the urgent one - a bird cap on our chimney to keep out the Jackdaws. Lee came and fitted the cap, giving a fast, friendly and professional service. Both Lee and Matt were excellent and when we are ready we will definitely call them again for the other jobs discussed.

Excellent service as always. I have used Matt a few times now for small, niggly, roofing jobs (the construction firm who built our new-ish house didnt do a great original job!) and decided to go for a dry verge system to solve one of the biggest issues. Fair price, fast turnaround from quotation and professional fitting. My neighbour might be his next customer!

Matt quoted us very reasonably to clean and paint our roof, he also sourced a good quality paint in the colour I’d asked for, which had to be specially mixed! Even though the job took longer than expected and required more paint than originally thought he didn’t ask for any more money. The star of the team was Lee, he worked tirelessly for 4 days in the freezing cold and rainy conditions. He was very considerate and a pleasure to have at our home. He worked all day Saturday to get it finished. The team take a lot of pride in their work and we wouldn’t hesitate to have them back again!
