I got myself in a right pickle trying to install three ceiling lights and it was quickly turning into a disaster. I gave Jon a call, described the frustrating situation, and I was elated when he said he could be over within the hour! Jon and Ryan did the electrics for our kitchen renovation and I couldn't recommend them highly enough. Super efficient and hardworking, and nothing is ever too much trouble - even when I asked for ridiculous circuits that took Ryan hours... He even sourced the exact sockets and switches I wanted when I failed to find them myself. They're now my go-to guys. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

I am really very pleased, which is a massive understatement! I was told by Octopus that a charger for our electric car could not be installed in our garage. Jon arrived from Mead Electrical the same day I contacted via Trustatrader. Totally positive approach from the moment he arrived, the same day I received a written quote and confirmation the charger could be supplied and installed where I wanted it. Around a week later Jon arrived, as promised, with 2 colleagues who between them efficiently installed, tested and showed me how to work the charger. I couldn't be more happy with their work, their attitude and they were so tidy as well! I definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again.

Jon and Ryan are both extremely professional and very good at what they do. Communication before the job was great, Ryan took the time to explain how he was going to conduct the work, as I was a bit worried it would ruin our cupboard (as we were getting a plug installed in the cupboard to allow a wall mounted TV). However, he reassured me on the phone. Turns out I need not have worried at all, he did an amazing job and was able to get the TV on the wall with no issues. Needed an electrician to sort out the electrics we needed for our new EV charger. Found Jon on trustatrader and so glad we did. He was friendly and professional giving us our quote quickly. Explained everything we didn’t know. On the day we chose to have the work done he arrived on time and the job was completed to a high standard, with no mess. Did some rewiring bringing power to some sheds in the garden. Ran an internet cable down also plus light on the side of the house. Did some freebie tidy up removing our old sky dish as well. Nice and friendly. Fantastic work throughout. First time using them, won't be the last.

Extremely impressed with Mead Electrical. 5 Stars for certain. Arrived exactly when they said they would, very polite, were efficient, extremely tidy (even brought their own hoover) and talked through various options due to the age of the electrics in our house. They charged a very fair price for the work completed. Would highly recommend to everyone in Essex. So much so I have asked them to return to sort out some additional, unrelated work.

Absolutely amazing service, the staff have been soo helpful and patient throughout. I want to personally thank Jon and Ryan for there services. They went beyond there job and even took time out to explain how things work. One key thing I can point out is they are very honest and reliable which is a bonus because some people out there only care about what they can take from a customer and not give. The team we got had a great sense of humour as well which is always a bonus because there is nothing worse than a moody contractor.
