The work carried out by Mike Horizon Roofing Ltd was to remove old roof and install new roof. From estimate to completion we were kept informed of dates, times and relevant information. The estimate provided matched the final invoice. We were advised when the scaffolding and skip were arriving and leaving. Mike and his team completed the works in 3 days. Their workmanship was very professional. All men were polite and respected our property. They arrived prompt every morning and left the site clean at the end of every day. Their only needs from us was electricity and the toilet, our lives were not disrupted. I would highly recommend this company. Finding a decent roofer is avery worrying experience, fortunately we chose well.

Mike and his team recently repointed my chimney, and and replaced ridge tiles and tiles on the roof hips. The work was carried out efficiently and cleanly, and I am very satisfied. Mike’s team came out and spent a considerable amount of time working out where the leak was and the cause. They took the time to explain the issue and give us various options as to how to resolve – all as part of their initial consultation. Mike came recommended by a family friend. He was a pleasure to deal with and did excellent work. We wanted to re-roof our home with new battens, breathable membrane, bay window lead-work, chimney pointing and flashing, and the installation of tile vents for bathroom extractor fans. Mike was helpful in providing information that I needed for planning permission applications (conservation area), he provided a clear works plan and provided updates on progress throughout his completion of the works with no surprises. Mike’s team were polite and respectful, and cleaned up after themselves everyday. They completed the job in the exact time that Mike estimated - they were on site ready to go at 8am everyday and ensured we were sealed each evening in case it rained overnight. I would have no hesitation recommending Mike and his sons to friends and family, and if we ever have a future project I would be happy to welcome them back.

Mike and the team have been, as ever, fantastic to deal with in replacing a small flat roofs at both the care home and the church which owns the care home. While it is early days I feel confident Mike has done a very good job and at a very competitive price. Mike and his colleagues were very pleasant and courteous to deal with throughout. They dealt very promptly with a problem to do with the scaffolding. There was a longish lead in time between the quote and the works being carried out, which wasn’t a problem for me. I would have appreciated an advance message to let me know exactly which day they were coming after the scaffold had been erected. They took us rather by surprise on the day and we could have been better prepared.

Mike (and his son) are both very knowledgeable and carried out an excellent professional job on replacing my felt roof all works were carried out exactly as explained and on time everything was cleaned up and cleared when completed I would highly recommend Horizon Roofing for any of your works
