Mix up with pump and then had to change times, when Mike had an hospital appointment but the job was completed.

I have had the services of Mike Oliver before and always found him a very personable chap who likes a challenge where this presents itself.He responds very quickly and can usually come the same day as in the problem I had on this occasion. Mike is not at all exploititive and can be relied upon to offer the cheapest solution unlike some plumbers who can take advantage especially of older people. He discusses his finding in a friendly way which is appreciated. I can therefore recommend Mike without any hesitation for any general plumbing/heating or fitment

Mike, was recommended to us and he certainly lived up to the recommendation. We needed a sink moved from one area and refitted into another then another sink fitted. He was professional and the work has been completed to a high standard.

Mike does an excellent job, fixed a leak as well as servicing the boiler. He has done all the plumbing for my new kitchen & bathroom in the past which has been tricky in an old house. He is my ‘ go to ‘ for any plumbing and heating issues and I highly recommend him.

Mike assessed the job & gave us a date when he could return & fix the problem. On the agreed date he arrived promptly explained what needed to be done and got on with the work without delay. Mike is always reliable, honest and trustworthy which is why we use him regularly. With his vast years of experience he has managed to fix lots of problematical issues eg boiler and radiator repairs, flushing , gas safety checks, shower and tap replacement, boiler servicing with efficiency and at reasonable cost and as such, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Very pleased with Mike’s work. He fitted a new hot water tank, independent valves to separately control our heating and hot water system and simplified what was a very complex and untidy pipework system. He’s very knowledgeable and nothing seems to faze him. Would definitely use his services again.

Mike arrived on time, was tidy, polite and respectful. He worked in very cramped conditions on a toilet in a combined toilet/ sink unit. He just got on with the job, kept me informed of how it was going, completed it without fussing about the cramped space and left everything tidy on completion. Mike has carried out other tasks for us previously, changing a mixer tap In the kitchen and fitted a new valve on the heating system. All three visits have been carried out with professionalism and ended with successful completion of the job at reasonable cost.

Mike dealt with two problems - a leak from the stopcock and replacing a ceramic cartridge in a basin tap. He completed both tasks much quicker than we dared hope. He is calm and reassuring and very efficient. The invoice was extremely reasonable and less than we would have guessed. We would not hesitate to recommend him and if we need a plumber again he is the first person we will call.
