M&J Cullen carried out a full rewire of a property I inherited which was in a poor condition. They turned up when they said they would, were able to start quickly and completed the work in the timeframe they said. A rewire is not a cheap job but when i met Martin and from reading other reviews, I had some confidence that the job would be done properly and it was.

Called for an estimate to replace consumer unit and outside lights. Arrived promptly and did a comprehensive quote. Work was carried out as per quote efficiently and to a high standard. They were very polite and professional offered good practical advice and left everywhere clean and tidy. Highly recommend them for any domestic electrical work.

Excellent service. Completed the rewire at short noice in time with other planned work on a tight deadline. Accommodated everything needed in the house after moving in to discover faults and dangerous wiring. The service was smooth, fast, clean and quality. Very reliable, prompt and friendly. With several projects ongoing at once, they were excellent with working around other priorities and supported the install of a new kitchen at the same time. Brilliant work, great people. Nobody wants to have a house wired from top to bottom, but they made the process much easier.

After moving into an old terrace house and finding a wide range of DIY disaster's, the upstairs lights finally gave in. M&J contractors came to the rescue and completed a full house re-wire removing the 50 year old cables and replacing them with new. Excellent work and brilliant customer relations. Will be using again in the future 10/10

After a power cut we needed an electrician quickly. We contacted Martin and he was with us within 30 minutes. After testing our 50 year old system he recommended a complete rewire due to botched DIY electrical work.He and Callum,his son began work a few days later. I cannot fault any of his work, making our house safe was a priority. We were kept informed every step of the way of what and why things were being done. Hardly any mess was made they cleaned up every day.would recommend Martin and Callum to anyone who needs any electrical work done.

I was getting my old Welsh house rewired. the work they did was amazing. they were reliable, always did what they said they were going to do, when they were going to do it. they were clean and tidy, respectful of both me and my home, and explained everything to me with patience. I honestly cannot fault them in anything they did. they went above and beyond for me and I'm so grateful. as an added note, in case it's a concern for anyone, as a single woman living alone, I always felt safe and at ease inviting them into my home. They fitted a new consumer unit as well as all new light fittings and re surfaced sockets. Work as been done really well and they even made accomidations to adjust out electric oven. They also patched up the walls and tiles where the sockets used to be inside the wall which was great. Couldnt have asked for more. Always on time and up front about any problems that came up. WIll 100% use again when we new work done.

We called this contractor to check our switch and fuse board which is 60 years old. Martin pointed out the dangers of the board and surveyed the whole flat.He explained that because of the old pyro cable a surface rewire would be needed. He quoted us and because we were elderly he said he was happy to explain it to a younger member of the family who saw him. He never once pressured us to go ahead with the job and we decided to go ahead. They were meticulous and considerate and added numerous sockets to help us. I would recommend them to anyone.
