This is the first time we have used M & J Total Property Maintenance and I have to say that I would happily recommend them. The work they did was of an excellent standard and they proved to be very reliable. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The people who came to do the work was very well mannered and polite and they never stopped work until their lunch break and worked until they finished the job until it was dark .so they put plenty of hours in and did stop for any other breaks and only had a drink when one was offered .

James is an honest down to earth guy who gave a good price and completed the job super quickly after being instructed. The work was completed to a very good standard. Highly recommended.

James was very prodding, courteous, polite and friendly. He knew ex script what he was doing, gave a good price for the work and did an excellent job. Communications were great, and he returned to check the work a couple of days later, and also called after a heavy spell of rain to make sure the roof was OK and we were happy with the result. Overall excellent service and I'd have no hesitation recommending him.

James was great, easy to talk to and very professional. He saved me a lot of money by identifying what work actually needed to be done rather than recommending a large scale fix as others had done. He went above and beyond, even clearing my gutters out for me as he noted they were filling up while he was up on the roof, and cutting back a branch limb from my cherry tree (after asking me of course) because it was the leaves from the branch that was filling up the gutter. Once the work was done he and his colleagues cleared up well enough you wouldn't be able to tell they had been there. It has rained heavily since their visit so I for certain the issue has been fully fixed. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone needing their services.

Not only a complete gentleman but also a 100% quality roofer! I felt in good hands straight away. Chimney repointed, new gutters, new fascias and soffits repainted, all in one day. 100% from start to finish! I highly recommend James and family.

James responded to my email very quickly and promptly attended my property to give a quote. He managed to repair the problem, the same day, that I had with rain water leaking into one of my bedrooms. He cleared up any mess too. The exterior wall is already showing that the repair has worked immediately. Brilliant price too! James is very polite, friendly and explained everything clearly. I would 100% recommend James for any roofing issues.

These guys, well what can I say !!!! They were amazing, new fascias, soffits and guttering all done in the peeing down rain, and a new flat roof on my bedroom bay. They grafted solid for 2 days and didnt complain once and the rain really was coming down. Polite, funny, kind, just a Dad and his two boys making an honest living and doing a spectacular job all the while. The price is also absolutely fantastic. A first class job carried out by Connor of re-pointing & re-capping my chimney. Connor kept me informed of the work that was taking place & showed me photographic evidence of an unexpected problem that cropped up. From first contact for an assessment & quote to completion of the work everything was carried out in a very professional way. I would have no hesitation in recommending M&J to friends. Definitely a 5 star rating.

What can I say about James and his sons !!! . I'm now 72 years old and have had many tradesmen do work for me over the years. They are by a country mile the best team that I have ever employed to do work for me. I discovered a leak from my loft extension roof on Thursday 7th October. I 'e' mailed James straight away. He made contact by phone the same evening and arranged to visit the following day. The work was started on Monday 11th.October and completed the following day. Roof was stripped and re boarded with new boards, new rubber covering and ridge tiles re set. Also I might add roof insulation was also replaced with a much better grade of insulation. The price quoted was the price I paid . Totally satisfied. What a truly nice team they are. Truthfully you would never know that they had been. There was plenty of muck and rubbish from the job and every last bit was removed and taken away. Totally unbelievable- the best . T

My guttering is plastic my neighbours is wooden. I have had the guttering fixed down twice before by another trader. I rang Mr masson he arrived at agreed time and assessed the work he needed to do. He then explained that the plastic had just been stuck in with a sealant. That is why it had lifted away from the wood. He then explained that he could grind out some of the wood to create a better fit then screw in the plastic and seal it all to make it water tight. We agreed a time and date for him to come and do the work. I have to say it was nice for someone explain what they would do and not just think, I wouldn't understand because I'm not a trades person. I found Mr masson to be courteous, considerate and timely, he worked cleanly and efficently and cleared up after himself. I made sure a got a business card from him. As I know should I need other work done on my property. I will call him first without a doubt.

After waiting 6 weeks for one firm to start work, we contacted M7J on the 18th and they came to assess the roof on the 20th and then started on Monday 22nd. James and his sons arrived promptly and were helpful and considerate at all times in addition to being extremely hard workers. Unfortunately they found serious problems under the tiles, which they photographed and explained to us. James offered to take our son up to show him the damage, but unfortunately he wasn't available. They then gave us a higher quote and let us make the decision as to whether or not to go ahead,explaining that it would take at least all week. We agreed and were very glad we had when we saw the rot, also very grateful that they were able to continue. The first winter storm was due and they worked all day into darkness to get it finished through freezing cold, drenching rain. We are indebted to them for the brilliant job they did. I've already recommended them to a friend and will certainly do so again.

James is a good guy he reset all my ridge tiles, fixed the water leak around my chimney, replaced broken tiles cleaned and fixed the gully, cleaned and resealed the guttering. He did a great job at a great price cleaned up after himself. Highly recommended no complaints whatsoever
