Professional from start to finish. We were given lots of advice and kept informed throughout the job. Nothing was too much. I would use MR Construction and Carpentry again and highly recommend them.

Mick and Ross did a lift conversion and extended my kitchen. It was a huge job which over covered lots of issues with my old house but they were always confident with what needed to be done and the options we could use and the price. (eg did I want all new roof tiles or did we want to reuse the old ones). They also replastered most of the rooms and created me a downstairs toilet even when my plumber said it couldn’t be done they found a way using their knowledge and experience. Very happy with all the work and the overall finish on everything was excellent. Mick has a keen eye for details and always wants to give the best finish to what they do.

Exceptional work from Mick & Ross on our new patio. Was recommended Mr Construction through a friend and couldn’t fault their work, on time and attention to detail was on point. Will have them back soon to carry out further works in the house. Cheers Guys!

What I like was I had an idea of what I wanted, they came up with some recommendations which turned out better.

Last November M.R Construction & Carpentry (Mick & Ross) completed a single storey extension on my house in Leigh-On-Sea. Adding a small study room and an extra bathroom to our home. Mick was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding any building control questions me and my husband had, and offered his advice throughout the job. The work took a week longer than originally planned, but Mick kept us informed the whole time, and if there was any issues we were made aware immediately. Mick & Ross kept our home very clean throughout the project despite the messy work carried out and the weather. They were very attentive while working in our house, and would definitely use again for any other projects we may have done, and would recommend to any of our friends or family!

I had Mick and Ross complete some internal wood work within my living room. I have existing oak features, but required some altercations to the alcoves, and renewing cupboard doors. The altercations that they have made fit in perfectly, and are a massive improvement to what was there before. They worked diligently and quickly throughout there short period in my home. They communicated directly with myself and tidied up after themselves. I am very happy with the work they have completed, and would recommend them to anyone.

My nan needed a rail put in to help her get to her front door as she gets older and less able. She had an idea in mind of what she wanted and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Everything was completed on time with extra care, and time was even taken to come back and check the quality of the fixing to make sure that it would last. The pricing was extremely good, and she is already eyeing up the next project that she would like MR Construction to work on for her.

Top half of front of house was originally rendered. This had started to crack and look very tired. Was suggested to have it clad which I had seen on other properties in the area. MR Constuction prepared previous and fitted this pre finished weather proofed cladding which adds extra kerb appeal to house. Excellent work and very pleased with the result

Really happy to have found a great builder. M&R Construction were easy to work with - got on with the job without fuss and kept me updated throughout the process. Love the final product, my new bathroom and utility closet look great and were exactly what I wanted. I will be hiring M&R Construction again later this summer to do my kitchen too. Would absolutely recommend.

MR construction were really helpful with the design of my tv media unit. I had a rough idea of what i wanted and needed, but Ross was able to bring all my needs to life with the design. I am really pleased with the finish product, as its fit the exact purpose i needed. They left my living room tidy throughout the build, and covered up any of my furniture left in the room. They also managed to move any electrical cables/switches which were in the way, and move them to a new appropriate place. Overall very good experience with MR Construction

This is the second time I have used MR Construction & Carpentry for a job at my home, and I am so thrilled with how it has turned out. I wanted a small wall build around the pond in my garden as we now have a new generation in the family who is walking, so I want the pond to be safe. Not only was this provided by Mick and Ross but the pond looks so much better than it did before - they took my idea and worked with me to imagine what it would look like ahead of the work starting. They are both lovely and polite and it was a joy to have them working on this.
