Highlights

"Lawrence was great from start to finish. Good communication, fair price, reliable and great workmanship. Will absolutely be using Lawrence for any future work."

"We had an issue with a socket ring that had caused the MCB to trip. It wasn't an emergency as we still had power in the kitchen, but even so Laurence from Neter Electrical was round promptly and diagnosed the issue as being with the MCB itself. We would highly recommend Neter Electrical as Laurence was friendly, professional, reliable, and very good value."

"After getting my three quotes! On Checkatrade I decided on Laurence at Neter to put my heated electric towel rail on the wall in the Bathroom! Laurence is a lovely man friendly, but professional as well he was so patient with me as I’m one of the older generation? he also put a timer on for me as well he came round to drop some cards off like I asked him I said I need you to come back & fix the light above my mirror in the bathroom it’s never worked, I had an electrician look at it he said the problem stems from inside he didn’t want the job. Laurence had a look at it & it's fixed👌"

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Confirm they cover your area and can actually come out in your timeframe before anything else.
Read recent reviews for reliability and turning up on time — not only the quality of the work.
