Nick also kept the place tidy and was very respectful of my home. I’m pleased with how the loft turned out, and I’d recommend Nick to anyone looking to have similar work"
"High quality work : ugly flat roof replaced by a beautiful slopped roof covering with tiles, downstairs windows and door , bathroom renovation delivered by a friendly & hard working team under Nick’s supervision - Nick is focused on delivering a very high quality work and will not hesitate to put suggestions forward for a better outcome, Overall very happy and will not hesitate to use Nick and his team again for future projects ."
"Nick completed a renovation project for us during the latter half of 2025. From the get-go it's clear that Nick is incredibly knowledgeable about his trade, and works to a high standard (and expects his crew to do the same). Communication was frequent, and Nick was always happy to walk us through his progress and discuss changes or add-ons to the plan (as usually happens with major jobs). Most valuably, Nick has an excellent network of tradespeople - when someone was needed for gas/asbestos/plumbing/windows, he already had someone lined up to speak with us. We'd gladly work with Nick again!"

Before you hire a builder
Never pay a large deposit up front — agree a staged payment schedule tied to completed milestones, and hold a small retention until snagging is done.
Get it in writing: an itemised quote with scope, materials, start and finish dates, and how any changes (variations) will be priced.
