"Two guys from NWE Ltd came to mount my TV to the wall, including in wall wiring, creating a sleek, neat finish. I would absolutely recommend them, they were friendly, efficient and reasonably priced, too."

"I couldn’t be more pleased with the service I received. They quickly identified that I’ll need a full rewire in the future, but what I really appreciated was how they explained my options clearly without any pressure. In the meantime, they made everything safe and got things working as best as possible until I’m ready to go ahead with the full rewire. Both of them were polite, professional, and efficient throughout the visit. I’m very happy with the work they’ve done and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

Smart checks

Before you hire an electrician

In England and Wales, notifiable electrical work (new circuits, a consumer unit, anything in a bathroom or kitchen) must by law be signed off under Part P of the Building Regulations — confirm they will handle that.
Prefer an electrician registered with a government-approved competent-person scheme (NICEIC, NAPIT or ELECSA) so they can self-certify the work meets the wiring regulations.
Insist on the Electrical Installation Certificate (or Minor Works Certificate) when the job is done — it is your proof the work is safe and compliant, and you will need it if you ever sell.
Look for consistent reviews across several named sources, not one polished profile.
Check any verified credentials, and that the business details independently check out.
